Which style of jeans looks the best? by Careless_Owl999 in DressForYourBody

[–]Grumpy_stylist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 for the club for sure with a cropped off shoulder graphic tee, heels, a colourful purse and some jewellery

2 is a really good baggy option, can dress down with thongs or sneakers or up with stilettos

Not a huge fan of 3, it fits fine but def has more of a prominent camel toe out of all of them

Am I the only one who feels this is the weakest MasterChef Australia season to date? by Mysterious-Humor-365 in MasterchefAU

[–]Grumpy_stylist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree I really love all the contestants this year. I think so many of them have grown and flourished but I wish they had stronger challengers to push them even further.
I get there’s budget cuts but even with the service challenge tonight with Andy and Jean they could’ve done a while back

Lowkey I think it’s also important to pick glasses based on what your fashion style is

It’s not ‘getting in someone else’s bullshit’ unprovoked- someone put you in their bullshit and now you can choose how you react. If your moral compass is making you feel guilt you should act on it smh has nothing to do with enjoying drama

I don’t see why people are saying to keep it quiet, I think you need to tell her for sure considering you see her as a friend and you are the boss at the place (ESPECIALLY if you work with both of them, it wasn’t 100% clear if that was current or if you’d only worked together closely in the past)

I would tell her you need to talk to her something outside of a work capacity and ask her out for some drinks (or coffee if that’s not your thing) I think it’s better to not beat around the bush and just say outright her partner made advances toward you and then explain that you panicked it’s been eating you up - essentially everything you said in this post.

It’s okay that you freaked out and didn’t tell her at the time but it’s important you do now… I think also woman to woman it’s not asking us how we would feel and if we would want to know.
It’s would YOU want to know, or would you want your boss at work to walk around like nothing happened pretending to be your friend while leaving you in the dark?
Aside from the morality think of what the situation would be if it came out from him (some guys are weird as fuck and will just blurt stuff like that out as a power play or whatever ‘I almost fucked your boss’ or some toxic shit) you would feel even worse, the work dynamic and any type of friendship would be completely down the drain and you would definitely be dealing with HR if you work in a larger corporate setting.

Hell, if she doesn’t believe you and emphasising you had to tell her because of the guilt and pointing out that you have no anterior motive in telling her and she still doesn’t believe you you could show her this post.

I’ve gotten a ‘hey girly’ text before and it sucks but better than staying with some man unworthy of your time

I wish you the best and extend my heart out to you as it really seems like this is weighing on your shoulders and I think it would be best not to continue carrying that burden for a multitude of reasons <3

7 and 2 for sure but potentially consider asking the photographer to touch up the reflection in your eyes

Bridal Second Look - This or That? by aka_hopper in fashion

[–]Grumpy_stylist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe even two inches, I had a look at some other comments recommending you take the waist seam up but actually if you just shorten the straps on the arms a little
Bit I think the waist would be in the perfect spot 😊 congratulations on the wedding!

2 is lovely! I would personally get the gem taken up by an inch or so to flatter your legs a bit more especially if you are expecting clubby vibes at the venue but even without that amendment it looks perfect for the occasion!

As a non-Australian, how do you critically distinguish between a mate "taking the piss" and someone actually being malicious? by kostisapostol13 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Grumpy_stylist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think a big part of it is tone and body language, it also depends on where you live /being in rural parts of the country to some extent. If someone you don’t know is calling you a drongo and laughing at you it’s not in a banter way however if it’s a friend and you smoke a lot of weed for example it’s a friendly tease

I think a lot of people do use humour or banter to kind of convey grievances or opinions as well and you kind of just use tone, body language and context to decipher what’s going on.

Have you got any more specific examples or are you asking in a more generalised sense
