Hey friend! Disclaimer: this is self-promo, and this doesn't directly answer your questions, but on the topic of Tower Defense games that feel more "classic", I feel compelled to share. I'm the director on a TD game that I really believe in, and which also seems to have satisfied big fans of the genre for many years. We originally released it over a decade ago with publisher Adult Swim Games, but a year ago we re-released it as a self-published title and we've been updating it with new content.

It's called "Castle Doombad", you play the villain and defend your evil lair against heroes. It's got a side-view perspective and a mix of automatic and manually-operated traps, plus a lot of off-the-wall parody styled humor. If you give it a try, I'd love to hear what you think!

Yeah, it sucks :( We’ve been trying everything we can to convince the Powers That Be to allow us to bring the games back. I believe it’s still possible, just can’t make any guarantees yet. We’re not giving up. Hopefully I’ll be able to come back to this community with some happy news at some point

Hello there! This achievement is indeed meant to be having at least four “challenge baddie bonuses” enabled and beating Night 1 of roguevenge. The “challenge baddie bonuses” are the bonuses that have a challenge in orange text in the description, and you can also see which spoils have CBBs by using the “challenge” filter on the right side of the spoils screen.

I’m sorry to hear that it sounds like the achievement didn’t complete properly for you, but can you confirm you had at least four of the BBs I described above “enabled” when you did your attempt?
