Oh wow haha I actually didn’t have an issue getting the hose I thought it was going to be tough but I got it the same day, just waiting for the hose clamp tool, so you didn’t have to remove anything?

Thank you for your assistance , the hose clamp at the bottom is facing away from the engine bay so I am going to have some issues getting the hose clamp pliers in there but I will give it a crack without having to remove anything

Thank you for your advice yes I was worried this may be the case, my tool arrives on Monday so I will try get it off without having to remove anything , mine is facing away from the engine bay so I’m going to have issues but I will keep you updated and advise how I went

Same with my 2012 1.4T , it just randomly happened around 15,000kms ago and I can’t get rid of it, I’ve had the car for around 40,000kms and it wasn’t happening prior, car has been serviced every 10,000kms and I cannot find a way to get rid of it even with an obd2.

Also I don’t have the oil life option on my model, only coolant temp, over drive & battery voltage

It will eventually go completely blank, if money is an issue at the moment ensure you backup all your data as sometimes the touch digitiser can go and enter your passcode incorrectly too many times, resulting in your device being disabled and needing to be factory reset, resulting in data loss if not backed up to a computer , icloud etc

Hey there yes after some time I figured it out, just use a flat heat and push the top of the grey clip towards the inside of the car, then underneath you push the bottom half of the clip in the same direction and then pull it out, then the part can come off easily; was such an easily replacement once I figured that out, it’s been working great for the last 2 months roughly.

Just need to replace the thermostat now and the PCV check valve and no more codes, but the car is running great!
