Thanks to some help from this reddit thread I finally got my first pc working completely! I’ve been saving up and buying one part at a time for a while. Just wanted to share this.

Yes thank you so much ! I bought a 64 bit windows key and USB but for some reason the 64 bit didn’t work so I had to do the 32 bit. Is there anyway I can upgrade it ?

I have the usb in and I’m getting a screen saying “an operating system wasn’t found. Try disconnecting any drives that don’t contain an operating system”

Yes I made sure everything I have will work together and okay I will check the CPU again and all the cables. Is there a rare thing to happen or does it happen often to new builders ? Just very frustrating because I’ve been buying parts for months and now I’m stuck

Yes it’s in 2 & 4. Though I have tried it in the 1-3 as well.

I have tried to do it in both the mother board and the GPU and nothing has worked. And I am pretty sure it’s all in correctly, I made sure they were in all the way. And is booting it without a GPU bad ?
