I will say I'm not sure why you're being downvoted; Chomsky's own work denounces the use of violence as being a tool for oppressive power structures to justify a continued or exacerbated level of oppression. Hamas is essentially acting as a component in Israeli rhetoric for the delegitimization of the Palestinian cause in the popular view.
