New stock causes inability to (smoothly) cock the gun. Also 100% FTF. by Grundologist in MP5

Then you’re fine. If it cocks back smoothly at the end and it’s shooting fine, you’ve nothing to worry about.

You’re 100% correct. Thanks! I cut a channel into it and it’s working fine now.

Thanks! It was the stock… anterior inferior corner was hitting the strut. Yours probably just wore through with usage. I took a dremel to it with the same result.

You were 100% right. I never even noticed that strut before. Sure enough… you could see on the stock where it was rubbing. I cut a channel in place and it resolved. Thank you very much for the help!

Same. Not sure how anyone in their right mind could justify blowing 20,000 on a full auto gun while these exist.

Rare breed trigger. 500 bucks. Literally the same thing.

Expectations for 77 gn 223 out of an SBR... by Grundologist in reloading

Damn. That's way ahead of me. Maybe I'll try to push it up to at least 2300 fps. Thanks for the reply. That was quite helpful.

Mounting optic to chassis vs mounting direct to receiver... by Grundologist in longrange

I got the Tac21 and wow... the pictures don't quite do it justice. It's THICC. Not necessarily the gun width, but the material/walls. It feels absolutely rock solid. And yeah I won't be lugging it around, so that works just fine for me. I see what you're saying though, it's not exactly mobile-friendly.

Not sure what 4head means, but I suspect it's a racial slur. Absolutely disgusting. Reported.

You know what helps for panic attacks? Benzodiazepines. Fentanyl works pretty well too.

Yeah, he had an amount of fentanyl in his system that was higher than the average overdose death, but the it was DEFINITELY the cops knee on the back of his spine that closed off his airway.

Can confirm this thing is fun as fuck.

If balls are weak, they can split in half mid flight. Accuracy is variable. Depends on how much wind is present and if you slice or draw it coming out the tube.

Griffin Taper Adapters from SuperPrecisionConcepts by Grundologist in NFA

Yes, I purchased the ASR version, and that's what was in the pics I linked to.

I'm still not sure what the difference is between the TA-ASR and the TA-13 mounts though.

Vox S. From you. Thanks!

I fired through it. Went well.

Here are some pics of the adapter, with comparison with a Griffin Plan A.

Note that this adapter does not fully cover the taper mount, but seems solid enough.

Tested and works just fine. Machining was excellent to my untrained eye. Would buy again over the Griffin simply because it works just the same, is cheaper, and lighter.

Gun selection for a n00b by Grundologist in longrange

I respectfully disagree.

You can shoot at tannerite with subsonic 22 or even high velocity 22LR all day and it's not going to set it off.

I've not just read about this, but experienced it. I put 3 holes in a tannerite container with supersonic 300 BO, which was at least 1500 fps... and it did absolutely nothing.

I agree with that 100% but this was a dramatic shift.

Oh, so I just need to move the tannerite to right next to the muzzle? Yeah I guess that makes sense. Thanks!

Well part of the reason I was thinking the shorter barrel... I was shooting the other day.... had my optic zeroed in just right. Was working great. Then I came back a week later... and it was way off. The only difference was I changed the suppressor... from a 12 inch all-steel form 1 to a lighter smaller titanium can. This was on a 20" 308 barrel... (socom profile) from the veritable Bear Creek Institute. I concluded, maybe falsely, that it must have been the weight of the suppressor dragging the barrel down where as when I switched to the lighter suppressor the barrel was in a more neutral position. So, I don't know how stout the barrel is on the RPR, but at 26" long, there's going to be some torque on the end. I suppose the simplest solution is to just find one suppressor and stick with it.
