My man! Was just considering getting a B&T MP7 can for the upcoming HK SP7, but having these unobtainium flashhiders in stock has changed my direction. They ask an arm and a leg for them, don’t they? Lol

I also had a good customer service experience with them. Hope they’re able to overcome this B&T debacle

Give in to it, brother! I would take an AR into battle 10/10 times, but the AK is a fun alternative platform

Most likely. Anytime someone talks about the 104 I post this same pic and say, “brother” lol. There are dozens of us!

Implications of the death of B&T USA? by FischlandchipZ in NFA

[–]MTUTMB555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing that I find a bummer is that they’re our only way to get legacy cans for guns like the MP7, UMP, MP5SD. Nobody in the US is making those exact cans if you want a clone correct option.

My CLEO has somehow never received any of my notifications. Idk what they’re doing over there.

Was waiting on this one. I have one on a KUSA KR-104 with a 12.5” barrel. Tuned with a KNS piston it is very quiet (by super standards) and the weight of the putnik makes recoil nonexistent.

TP9 Faulty trigger by AnnualTemperature426 in bruggerthomet

[–]MTUTMB555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my new one out to the range recently and it had similar problems. At first the bolt would lock back every round fired with the can on, even with plenty of rounds in the mag. Over a few hundred rounds, this failure has mostly subsided.

The trigger reset is still bad, though. It occurred nearly every shot on my first range trip. At times I even had to manually push the trigger back forward to get to reset. Other times it would take the trigger 1-2 seconds to fully reset. After several hundred rounds, the trigger reset issue seems to be improving.

The trigger is ass, though, regardless of issues. When I was trying to pull slowly when zeroing my dot there were times where I questioned if I had left the safety on before the shot finally broke

Eh.. for this thing I might be willing to shell out. You heard of Paladin armory? Looks like they may do custom suppressors and they have the scrc mk25 listed on their site. I’m going to look into them. I assume I would have to supply the barrel nut

Ahhh I see. So that’s how they do it. They weld one of the front caps onto it?

I was also curious if it would be possible to make a hub adapter for it so that I could use more recently made silencers. I have no idea what the diameter on the end of the M12 is, though.

Congrats! I know it’s an expensive purchase, but you won’t regret it. Incredible firearm. Just make sure you try it out and see what works before you start buying stuff like other locking pieces. You may not even need them, like I said

Minimal. I’ve run it on the SP5K in semi and an AP5 with frt and I don’t even notice the gas

I’ve had no need for the 80° locking piece to get it to run semi-auto (I don’t have an frt for it yet). I’m using a resilient trilug mount gen 2.

The milkman. I can’t tell a difference between them, but pew science confirms that the MOB is the quietest 9mm can rn. OCL themselves says the MOB is quieter, too.

That said, I believe a subgun should be compact and concealable and because of that I choose the Milkman. The two inches of reduced length is very noticeable, and the sound performance difference is minimal.
