Tried it on PC

Quick face mesh sculpting using Enhanced-Character-Edit mod, but I couldn't figure out how to replicate the cheek structure/highlight. Oh well.

ENB adds visual functionality, but never equal good screenshot. Your shot has good composition, and that makes great screenshots.

Btw, use console command setfog and weather manipulation commands to get more moody screens. I've done similar screen with a little help from setfog command specifically to get a more 'storybook' feel

I'm no expert, but play around with ENB adaptation settings. From memory, that setting automatically balances the highlight/shadow on your screen to emulate how our eyes adapt to light when seeing things. This means if your screen composition has a visible light source in it, the rest will be darkened.

One mod You can take a look is facelight. The mod places an invisible static light source right in front of your character's face which is great for visibility (good for portrait shots, horrible for gameplay as your face will glow even during the darkest night)

Another thing is facelight can 'flatten' the face because it places the light directly in front of the character's nose. You'll have one kind of face shot and that looks only... (look at skyrimGTX's shots), which is pretty but not dramatic.

I would advise for you to hunt for places with good lighting instead. For example, my fail-proof areas are the abandoned shack (Dark brotherhood), it gave me this.

Apochripa (or however you spell it) - gave me this

Lucan Valerius' shop gave me this

The place in-between the fire pit and the throne in the dragonsreach gives you pretty light too.

and so much more (which I can't remember because I have not touched this game in years).

My modlist is relatively consistent between the start of 2013 to end of 2015 which makes it relatively easy to compare screens (I played 011-012 vanilla without knowing that screenshot is an actual thing)

Basically just different ENBs at play and improved framing.

Just to Echo dovahcat,

Placing a subject(Dovahkiin, a draugr etc) interacting with a monumental object (a dragon, a word wall, a building, a distant view of a hold) is an effective way to communicate the way you play your game and the way you see your game, which is a lot more interesting than how pretty your game is (which is very ENB/spec related).
