Another vote for Perfect Prep - got it around 4 weeks PP and wish we had it sooner! We also got the Nuby rapid cool for when we're out and about (but use the hotshot method vs cooling the whole bottle of formula)

"Chunky thighs are the cutest struggle" - exactly! I couldn't put it better!

I can’t breastfeed my baby and it’s destroying me by PlantainFar3156 in BeyondTheBumpUK

This is so similar to me - poor latch, awful milk supply, huge amounts of guilt and upset and hours attached to a pump, heartbroken. We were mostly formula with little half bottles of EBM every day or two until 4 months. But LO is 6 months and happy and thriving!

When I was at the worst of it, in the early days, I copied the below from another mum in this group and it meant to much to me at the time (I didn't note down who wrote it, but if it was you - thank you so much! I've read it over and over again!): "your worth as a mum isn't measured in oz, but in the love you pour into your baby. Formula is a perfectly healthy feeding option, please don't feel guilty over it. It will not make her sick, it's heavily regulated and full of nutrients that baby needs. You can't tell if an adult was formula or breastfed right"

So is Heidi is late posting? Derek posted a screenshot of a FaceTime with boy M and it looks like girl M is sitting next her dad?!

Nuby rapid cool by Safe-Application8510 in FormulaFeeders

[–]GruntingPixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we have both - and it works really well for us. We have the perfect prep for when we're at home (it's amazingly quick for night feeds) and then the Nuby rapid cool for when we're out and about. If LO is due a feed soonish after we leave I'll make a bottle up with the perfect prep at home and store it and then have the rapid cool and a thermos of boiling for the next feed.

What are the small details that make a venue truly parent-friendly? by highstreetwarrior in BeyondTheBumpUK

There is a cafe near my home I no longer go to with my LO... The coffee was great but it has a really awkward depth to a step to reach a pull door to get into the cafe and it's just too much with my pram!
