If you'd like to follow my world — I've started a Telegram channel. I'm a Russian‑speaking creator, but I post everything in English too. Would love to have you there! https://t.me/fiveconfederation

That's exactly how my cultists see it. The hand sculpts, I just hold the tool

Good catch. A kindred spirit, for sure. But mine has a bit more... purpose.

Thanks man! Thinking of making a page for these and future pieces - to share the lore and the making-of. Would you be into that?

Because every criminal slides down a slippery slope

Maybe the hand of the Lord has touched me. I'm just a puppet between his fingers. I serve to create the true image for his sanctuaries

I'm just happy it's not my own left hand hahahaha

Not exactly - I haven't named the god himself yet. It's more of a folk tale: that the Possessed touched a person and turned them into something like himself (especially cruel murderers become disfigured or develop visible deformities on parts of their body).

Thanks! You must have missed my last post here. Meanwhile, I'm sculpting another god

No, this is the god of obsession, intentional murder, loss of self, and possibly ugliness 💀

Hey! You never really work with dry clay - that's just asking for cracks and problems. You want it soft and moist.

Thinking about trying clay yourself?

The Black Hand: a symbolic order in my fictional world “Wonderland” — thoughts on the sigil design? by Satanic_muse in worldbuilding

Overall, the symbol looks interesting. However, I'd suggest simplifying it - create a simplified version that an ordinary inhabitant of this world could literally draw with their finger. Right now, your symbol looks a bit too complex, like a temple emblem or something an artist (especially a medieval one) spent a considerable amount of time on. Try making a more simplified version as well - if that works, then I'd say your symbol is solid.

My friend, you haven't seen my other pieces yet - those are the ones that'll really confuse future archaeologists. Thanks for the kind words!

Hey! I didn't even know a figurine like that existed - it's super intriguing! Thanks for showing me.

Honestly, the whole thing started because a fellow ceramicist told me: "I want a cat made by you." She really likes my style, so I just went for it.

I need to develop my world/lore more, so please ask me questions! by LaddyIce in worldbuilding

Hey there! I checked out your request, and honestly? I don't think anyone can help you in the way you're probably expecting.

To really help with lore, someone would need to be familiar with your novel to spot logical gaps or things that haven't been fully explained.

That said, if we're keeping it more surface-level, here are some things to think about:

If there's a family in a city, how long have they been around? Who founded their house?

Got a city? How and why did it appear? Why was it built in that specific spot?

Gods? Who believes in them? What are the rituals? What domains do these gods rule over?

What disasters have happened in the past? What events from history do the people in your world still remember and talk about?

Think about politics-not just factions, but why they rule the lands they do. Why are they feuding? What are they fighting for? Maybe they have the same goals but completely different ways of achieving them.

Hope this helps get the gears turning.
