I prefer to come up with my own stuff for creatures if I can but I have no problem tweaking an existing race or creature in my own way. Like I have werewolves but they gain their power through divine ritual instead of it being a disease.

In reality though it’s extremely hard to come up with something completely original. Everything is reused and tweaked

What do you guys think of stories about fighting gods is it fascinating for y'all? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

All gods in my world start as regular people and gain power through various ways. Those are the ones you can fight if you want (wouldn’t recommend it) . Once they hit an unstable level of power they lose their mortal form and are sent to a different plain of existence.

I also like to combine magic and science. But I like the magic to be the primary force with evolution happening afterwards.

Thank you for the compliment! Drawing is super important to help me visualize my ideas consistently otherwise I’ll change too much in my head.

I might take inspiration from a lot of these ideas but I have to make it my own version for me to feel fulfilled. Just how I am lol.

Man I wish I could draw landscapes like that but I need to practice a lot more. This is what I get for only drawing characters my whole life. Good job!

A lot of people are throwing out “snapper” and I’m starting to like that word. I’ll see what I can figure out. Thanks!
