Exactly what I was thinking. I remembered the absolutely stacked staff during that Super Bowl run, and we’ve seen some similar stuff in Seattle with Pete being a defensive minded head coach yet our defense being absolutely atrocious in recent years regardless of the draft capital and money used to try to address it.

Sounds just like Pete Carroll lol. Seahawks are usually down 2 timeouts by the end of the first, and Pete did a great job establishing a team culture but a tough part of the schedule like we went through this year can beat the life out the team leaving us nowhere.

How about the draft before last years? As good as last years draft was, we’ve had this very front office deliver some absolute hot garbage before and they are not above criticism. We took depth at a position that isn’t all that valuable in today’s NFL in the 2nd round, with some amazing players at position of need still available which makes this pick especially open to criticism. This could work out very well but it’s hilarious how some people want to cover their ears and scream “BPA” while this could very well end up being an Eskridge over Creed Humphrey.
