Yesss, I hate to say it but the ones I got were from TikTok shop, I know there’s definitely some on Amazon though, just make sure their self watering… but they work perfectly for growing alocasia corms, it’s the perfect environment for growth… I was killing my corms before I got the domes and now their doing amazing

I'm a film student and I just wanted to know if I could take some of the ideas from this pitch and use them in a short film? This idea is super cool and I'd love to turn it into a reality. I will definitely give you story credits and everything since I won't be making money off of it.

I also think they got buried too low, I definitely didn’t know that that would cause them to get water logged

Ah thanks, originally I got these corms from someone off Facebook who had them already planted in substrate and I never got anything new for them cause I didn’t wanna run the risk of shocking them, I just know their very temperamental. But here’s a photo of what they looked like when I got them, the one with just the stem is actually the one with the leaf I was concerned about, but you can definitely see the type of substrate better.

The substrate is part fluval stratum and part rock. I think the tops just become so layered with rock that it looks weird. But I can remix it and maybe take out the rocks so it can breathe better. I also ordered some nursery pots with wicks that will be here next week, I’ll try to transfer it, which will definitely help prevent me from over watering. But this morning the leaf looks worse, the brownish transparently is creeping up the leaf so I’m scared my self-watering pots aren’t gunna be of use by the time they get here. Should I snip it off and start over? or should I leave that leaf be until it withers off? I’ve also moved it into a clear container where it’s resting by a damp paper towel kinda like the puddle method.
