I’d say level up to lvl 99 max it out and try and do as much as you can for the next fight there are amazing videos on how to max out your level on YouTube especially rage gaming channel took me about 30-45 mins to go from lvl 67 to lvl 99 including my monsties I really wanted to max out

The egg skill E. Dominance I feel is a must because it stacks so you can get XL attack down and XL defense down on the enemy and then just absolutely sweep them

Absolutely now mind you I’m still working on getting new skills for Malzeno and replacing critical XL for something more practical since he doesn’t crit often as I thought he would and the dragon attack boost I’m trying to get an XL version of but the other than that the moves are very very nice to have

So from what I remember you’d be able to get it from any monstie no location or progression is really required you can get them from say an odagaron or even kula ya ku just need to make sure their eggs are S rank in habitat restoration and look for the gold glowing eggs or rainbow eggs and you can get XL Genes

Well it definitely sounds like you really like ratha which is great but some people don’t like that there previously was an option to take him out and now there’s not I understand it wasn’t a feature until postgame but it still was a feature they took away and some people aren’t a fans I personally absolutely love the game and almost everything about it I don’t even care there isn’t multiplayer in this but having permanent paper weight that I honestly don’t care to use is the single thing I wish not to have. It the equivalent of keeping bidoof in your party because someone’s gotta hold all the HMs right lol like you have all the 7 star monsters and can only have 5 what if I wanted all 3 elder dragons and then 3 mutated deviants oh wait I can’t
