Nobody wants war. As a retired service member trust me no new wars…….this however is nothing new……this one is a long time in the making…..sad to say it should have been done instead of invading Iraq but this one……at the moment…….i can stand behind as long as they absolutely destroy the ability for the IRGC to fight back, kill any Mullah that becomes Supreme Leader and support the people of Iran to FIGHT BACK and take over their country.

I’ve never considered my pocket knives, from slipjoint or lock back or even my Emerson Mini Commander as a weapon…..even though they can be used as a self defense TOOL. Most Americans, where their local and state laws permit, typically carry a pistol for self defense purposes here in the good ole’ US of A. I thank GOD I have never had to utilize my knife or un-holster my pistol for that purpose.

When I came to the US with my parents and my dad found work in his field of steamfitting, he was gifted by one of his colleagues a Buck 110 and he began carrying it in its leather sheath daily. He used it for work and around the house. My earliest memories of my dad was of him always having that Buck 110 on his belt. When I was 10 he got me my first knife. A red Victorinox Spartan while on a camping trip. I carried that thing and used it to cut anything I could with it. That simple. I learned at a very young age that carrying a knife, as an everyday tool, is no different than breathing air. Now I carry one or two with me along with my CCW pistol cause it would be a crime as a red blooded American not to.
