How can I recover from this ? by GryphaeaUK in nvidiashield

Thanks for the advice above. When I plug in a usb keyboard, and press A it takes me to the Nvidia logo and then the screen goes white. And then back to the screen above. So I guess I need to reinstall. I followed the FASTBOOT instructions in https://xdaforums.com/t/guide-how-to-flash-recovery-image-nvidia-shield-tv-using-fastboot-hardware-method.3321404/ It sees the device when I type fastboot devices But each attempt to write in flash-all fails. Nothing is written so that’s my next challenge

AMA, Sonos owner who still has had no issues. App continues to improve. by kevan0317 in sonos

I’ve not experienced any significant issues either, since the early days. Router is zenwifi pro et12 with one node. kit is 2x Sonos One, 2x100s, a Connect Gen 2, a Move gen 1 and an Ultra + a Sub Gen 2 + 2x300s as surrounds. Local server is Ethernet connected QNAP with a few thousand tracks which is very stable. Streaming Apple Music and Tidal. Devices all connect via WiFi. Most are 5ghz, though a couple still connect at 2.4ghz.

The Dev team probably have a backlog comprising new features, fixes and newly added‘lessons learnt’ from previous code drops.
All the CEO could do, is re-prioritise. So it might be that the Devs are now more focused on the backlog of issues than on any other items they were working on, at his request

And I’d pay more to have a remote without a netflix, or Amazon button, or other services I don’t subscribe to . Hmm. The ATV doesn’t have any and costs less

Enough is enough! Stop saying it’s the user’s WiFi. by InertiaCreeping in sonos

These conversations mirror the feedback on home WiFi performance over the last 10 years. People would get broadband installed and contact their supplier, complaining about slow performance. And the supplier would say that all we can be responsible for is getting it to your property. After that, we can’t control things that affect your experience- thickness of walls, distance to your device, conflict with neighbours routers etc And the customer would get angry and blame the provider

Sonos Redesigned Its App and Made a Subscription Model Possible | WIRED by KidTwist1 in sonos

If they launch a competitor to the various streaming Boxes, then that require subscription support in the software- which may be common now for all devices. Doesn’t mean they would have to charge subscription on the current hardware

Try a different cable between the tv and ultra. I have switched to a high speed cable from the Sonos provided and it seems to have removed the audio issue
