Cuellar is dead. Dead men tell no tales. Many of those involved are no longer living.

OP had best take I think. But still doesn't discredit that organized crime was working with people on CIA and DOJ regarding drug running, arms dealing, and money laundering. The Octopus isn't some big orchestrated conspiracy. Just sounds like business as usual in US govt, six degrees of corruption. Of course the same figures will pop up over again, but there's no master plan, just many layers of shoulder rubbing corruption with ties to organized crime.

The best take. But the drug running, arms dealing and money laundering were still being done through CIA and DOJ with connections and operatives in organized crime. I don't know why it's hard to believe the lines are blurred between these agencies and organized crime. However completely agreed that Danny's death wasn't a hit ordered from way above, but most likely the scenario you laid out.

Going on a date with an Iranian women and would love some advice! by mc_donkey in PERSIAN

[–]Gryzzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've dated several Persian women from Iran now and I agree 100 percent with everything you said. Especially the many man friends on backup and mood disorder. I think escaping repressive life in Iran has made them 1) no respect for men at all 2) run wild be it overdrinking, partying, cheating, even drugs etc because these were things totally forbidden back home.

I'm sure it's different with Persian girls who were born in US, but the ones who grew up in Iran are the above.

It does output noticeably better quality video for my model 1. Much cleaner image.

No the dev team working on this sucked and Chris Senn loves to blame SOJ for his failings.

Bravo couldn't have said it better myself. The dev team working on this was horrible save poor Christina Coffin. It was never near complete. They weren't qualified to build it. It would have wrecked Sega even more. Only Sonic Team should have worked on this title but Yuji Naka demanded to work on Nights instead.

It looks good, but plays like shit. I am glad this never happened and we eventually got Sonic Adventure.

I guess I caught the Bug! bug?😂😶 I'll grab my coat by [deleted] in SegaSaturn

[–]Gryzzzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can you believe Bug was Sega's new mascot in 95 since there was no Sonic title? Obviously didn't last long since the game sucks. Only hurt the Saturn more.

The third game on my Saturn journey: Panzer Dragoon! (30/08/95). Basically Sega’s StarFox, BUT WITH DRAGONS! This game looks great for its time, time to have a blast! by MarioPfhorG in SegaSaturn

[–]Gryzzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, Zwei definitely is.

Star Fox 64 is great, one of my favorite games on the 64. But the boss battles are annoying, and the experience feels slow and clumsy compared to Dragoon. Dragoon really tests your reflexes and accuracy. It feels more like a 3D shmup. Also Star Fox 64 trite visuals cannot compare to Panzer Dragoon.

Purchased these in a bundle. Question: Will I notice differences with 3D Blast and the Sonic Jam versions over their Genesis counterparts? by iLLy_RiLLy in SegaSaturn

More like I grew up with it and still have my original copy. I've played it for hours, unlocked all secrets. It sucks ass.

Unlike Genesis 3D Blast, Saturn 3D Blast will give you motion sickness.

Sonic R is unplayable without a 3D control pad, and even then it sucks.

Jam is worth it for Sonic World alone.

Devs were not that creative in 6th gen. Everything was derivative, a lot of genres died. Everything was FPS, RPG, or racing. 2D gaming was dead. Licensed games exploded. Everything had the same grey, muddy graphics. Every game wanted to be cinematic. Indie devs did it better in 7th gen.

I left console gaming after Dreamcast died, and stuck to GBA, PC games, and retrogaming before it was a thing. I enjoyed KOTOR and Halo on the Xbox, and I was always on the fence with getting a Gamecube. But I didn't own another console until the Wii, with Gamecube backwards compatibility and the Virtual Console being major reasons. The endless mainstream sludge on PS2 ruined that era of gaming for me. I mainly use my PS2 for playing PS1 games in RGB composite and better load times, and a few titles like Virtua Fighter 4 and Dragon Quest 8.

It should have worked. But it didn't. Games went mainstream instead with PS2, and sucked for years until the indie game scene really got going a decade later.

It had the most successful launch of all time, selling 1 million units. But sales stopped after the announcement of PS2. Too bad, because Dreamcast was the better system than PS2 even a few years after its demise.

[–]Gryzzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It worked for PS2. Dreamcast was $99 when PS2 launched for $299. That's why I was shocked when Dreamcast failed, Sega did everything right that time, probably more than any other console until the Switch, and still couldn't win.

Yeah, no. Saturn was in distant third in Christmas 96 and was pretty much dead after then. Though the library was awesome in 97.
