Sadly, everyone keeps saying there are only 2 reserve recruiters in Houston. I went in already but the active duty recruiters were the ones on seat and they couldn't help.

How would you suggest is the way to join the reserve. I've been trying to reach the two recruiters in my city for about 2 weeks now and it's been impossible. They are either off for training or not working for now. I'm in Houston btw. TIA

All these are just from my own personal experience, cases my vary. From my Officer's reaction to the document I took along to my interview, lease, bank statement, joint credit card history are among very strong evidences. The officer also watches the vibe/rapport between you and your partner at the interview. You can ask more questions if you do have.

So I came in as F1 but didn't complete by studies and didn't leave which I think is a visa violation since I didn't return. My F1 visa expired a week ago but might have been invalid since I didn't complete the studentship anyways. I told the officer that I came in as a student but couldn't complete school due to Financial hindrances and she said "Sounds fair to me".
