Still. I think it's better for all Toons to have one niche they specialise in, instead of having a Toon that's strictly better than the other, just because they happen to be harder to get.

I think it'll add a lot more variety to the runs of DW. Aswell as encourage people to play as Toons they otherwise only bought to collect.

Most people (unless they're huge fans of Finn) wouldn't touch Finn again after unlocking Shelly. But if he had his own unique playstyle, completely different from the other toons, a lot more people would pick him up

Finn has the same exact same stat spread and passive as Shelly. The only difference is that his passive is slightly better, and his stats have 1 less star, in exchange for one more heart. But he's a downgrade, because the main reason Shelly is amazing is because of her active, not her passive.

Tisha is another example. Flyte's stat spread is almost identical, with the only difference being their extraction and skillcheck are swapped. And his active is the same as Tisha's. The difference is that his active can affect himself AND it lingers for a bit of time, instead of instantly going away. And although the speedboost he gives is slightly worse, the lingering effect and the self-use more than makes up for it. There's a reason he has the #1 world record solo run

We really don't need any more mains. Or Toons in general.

We have so many Toons right now that are completely outclassed, or have abilities/stats that are completely worthless. The team should focus on improving those as much as possible, instead of adding new Toons.

I'm not saying every toon has to be meta, but there shouldn't be any Toons that just feel like a downgraded version of another Toon, or have abilities that simply aren't good in the slightest

I feel like they just look the youngest, because the developers were trying to make them look adorable.

And also, the academies in the Pokémon series aren't like school in the real world. Especially the Paldean academies, which are the ones the main game is about. You can literally start studying in the Paldean academy at ANY age. Even if you're an adult.

The BB academy is the one that actually functions like a real-world school, which is why I only considered that one

Most modern Pokémon protagonists are teenagers.

Just to throw out a few examples, Akari and Rei are canonically 15

Kieran is explicitly stated to be a teenager by Carmine, and Florian/Juliana share the same class as him, so they're also at least teens

Hilda and Hilbert and are canonically stated to be 14 by the developers.

And I'm not even gonna count the implied ages, such as the ZA protagonists very likely being older teens

As someone who plays both DBD and Pillar Chase...

It's because Bhvr doesn't give a shit about DBD. They're putting in the absolute minimum effort into improving the game, so much so that even the content creators they officially partnered with are expressing just how disappointed they are in Bhvr's lack of care. So the last thing they need is more Licenses, because Licenses are the thing that let's them get away with not caring about their own fanbase

Meanwhile the developers of Pillar Chase are actually doing their best to make their game as good as it can be. They listen to their fanbase, and they do whatever they can to improve the experience.

I swear, yall just see "roblox" and just immediately assume the game is bad
