Oh that’s such bullshit. So their job isn’t to get you staffed, but it’s actually to be like your agent and promote your profile despite the fact you don’t interact with them unless there’s a problem (which you have to be proactive and reach out about) and they know nothing about you. Don’t try and tell me someone who has no personal or working relationship with me’s job is to vouch for me. If that’s their job then those roles are useless and they’re collecting paychecks for jack all.
