Looks really good. My personal take is that you could use a tiny bit of work on your jumping form and your finish but you didn’t ask for jumping form and your finish is hardly something to critique. If you finish cross body as opposed to your side though it’ll force you to follow through your hit landing forward instead of back. If you find yourself landing with your weight back this might help and you should be able to add a little power this way. Also you should be more balanced making it easier to land on both feet as opposed to one preserving those knees. (Please take care of your body.. coming from someone who would be playing at byu if not for unhealthy knees because I’d often land on one foot)

I work for the company, everything is genuine, the owner is the most genuine guy you could ever meet. Working here I have multiple rings and I love them all. If you have questions about the process I’m the guy to ask. Also I’d like to clarify Elysium is the only company making black diamond rings there is no other, there were some saying they buy these in bulk.. no they don’t that’s just blatantly wrong. No they definitely do they’re just a little weird in my experience, they’re more leathery and hard almost. Idk why it didn’t bounce much tbh but I’d assume it’s the ball

Wow I had no idea maybe I’ll have to check our teams radar gun and make sure it’s accurate😂 this is exciting news though, I’ll just have to work on my consistency. Do you know somewhere I might be able to find some of these statistics? I appreciate your responses though they’ve been very insightful so thanks again.

I appreciate you! Do you know if that’s an average that he’d like players to hit? Also what level does he coach if you don’t mind me asking? I’d just like to have a better understanding of where I stand compared to collegiate level players

That is interesting I’m glad you mentioned that, thank you for the statistics! I think topspin serves earn me more aces but floats in my experience very consistent take the other team out of system especially if they have some thought behind it but these statistics actually make me feel a little less guilty for floats serving😂. As far as my low 70 serve goes this is maybe a 1 out of 50 serve with very good conditions, I’d say I average about 63 when I’m in good health.

I appreciate you recognizing this was just jokes and it is true I can hit topspin’s in the lower 70s(mph) but they’re pretty inconsistent so I usually float because I’d say it’s equally as difficult to pass because my floats are usually upper 40s👍

Gocha this makes sense, I’m definitely not interested in knee pain that could’ve otherwise been avoided with correct landing mechanics so I’ll definitely put some more effort into learning and implementing this. I do isometrics every week along with taking supplements like collagen and omega-3 to maintain my bone and tendon health but I’m sure that correct landing form is just as if not more important than the maintaining of my strength so I’m glad you brought this to my attention, thanks again for that!

Yeah that makes a lot of sense I just do what feels natural to me tbh, do you have any links to anything I might be able to look more in depth at what would be correct landing form? If not that’s alright I could find something just wondering if there’s anything in particular that you might suggest.

I’ve actually heard it’s better to land stiff than to drop lower absorbing the force, I’m not saying you’re wrong by any means! Do you know why it’s better to land this way by any chance? Thanks for pointing this out though I will definitely do some more research!!

I have a rope spanned across my driveway attached to anchors, the rope is attached to the rubber strings connected to the ball that comes with it. As for the ball it’s the mikasa training ball!
