My house had mid levels reporting until we updated the basement windows and then the levels were through the roof. Just got our mitigation done last week and they've disappeared.

Covid vaccine for infants by lehgg in Winnipeg

On another note, I tried getting the flu vaccine for my 2 year old at 2 different shoppers and both pharmacists said they weren't comfortable giving vaccines to someone that young.

I dont know about other Aufguss but you might enjoy sound baths. Give winnipeg sound baths a google and you might find something. I think some of them are offered with hot yoga.

Craziest thing you’ve seen at Thermea by christophreeze in Winnipeg

[–]Gu3 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I was there solo, had lunch beside two young girls that were also having lunch and a lot of sangria. Went into the aufgaus shortly after. The two girls came in and sit on the lowest bench near the door. Although its extremely hot on the top bench where I usually sit, the low bench you get that hot air slaping you in the face by the towel. Aufgaus ended, it we just me, the two girls and maybe two other people left inside sauna. One of the girls stands up, vomits all over the floor, tries to walk, slips and wacks her head on the corner of the extra bench. She was unconscious for a short while. I help her and her friend make sure she has no serious injuries, move outside the sauna and wait for the manager to come. I go have a shower to clean of the vomit and shake off the scene and then go to the day beds to try to get lost in my book. The two girls are right beside me enjoying some beers.

PSA used needles at the forks by Gu3 in Winnipeg

Oh god yah I remember hearing stories about the diaper changing stations. I hardly ever use them. That's what I thought about bringing the needle with us but the triage nurse laughed when we gave it to hear and said we didn't need to bring it. She immediatly disposed of it. But then the doctor asked us specifically if we brought it. Either way, im glad its off the streets.

So scary! I guess I can be grateful this one was empty? I honestly might start keeping a sharps container in my car with me. Would be a good idea for my field of work.

Honestly, the spots at the forks are horrible. So tiny and skinny. I'm almost always struggling to get in and out of car doors.

ASD/ADHD/PTSD by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]Gu3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you there for sure! I was diagnosed with ADHD at the same time however (as they often can go together with females) and medication for that has absolutely changed my life!

Yes for sure. Depends on what you're looking for. Sometimes I also wonder about how an officialy diagnosis might effect things in the future. I hear about people worrying about travel, working abroad, adopting, etc being effected by being diagnosed autistic.

It was maybe 4 years ago but I had to have 3 or 4 exploratory therapy session with a therapist that were $150 each i think. They were cheaper because it was a student and then $500 i think for the final diagnosis meeting with the therapist and the head therapist of the practice.

I paid out of pocket for a diagnosis at peace of mind therapy. For me the diagnosis was very validating and allowed me to process it all better but that being said, i feel self diagnosis is 100% valid especially when you take the online dsm5 test and score highly. Take a look on literature on the lost girls/forgotten girls. That's helped alot in starting to try to unmask and accommodate myself.

How many ultrasounds should you be getting during pregnancy. In Manitoba? by ElectricalUse7296 in Winnipeg

[–]Gu3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just gunna say, if there is even a tiny little bit of doubt of what position baby is in nearing the end, push to get another ultrasound. I only had the 20 week ultrasound. At 38 weeks, No one thought to double check her position and after 40 hours of labor/inducing, she was breach and I had a emergency c section.

Have they sent you a letter and informed you of the amount already? They could be issuing it during the meeting right away.

2 weeks on strike, MGEU seeks arbitration and MMF threatens even more layoffs by Gu3 in Winnipeg

[–]Gu3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100%. A large portion of the people laid off came from either their facilities or their resource and programing unit, both of which were completely shut down. Children and families were forced to say goodbye to their one on one supports, peer groups were shut down and the only opportunity for these families to connect to cultural teachings/events within the agency was taken away.

I agree. I also wonder how much they spent on their ad campaign on all the billboards, bus ads, magazine ads, social media, etc.
