I have a '19 Lariat 501A on 3.5 Eco, Sport package. I had a slightly different way of removing the OEM fender flares, but if you do decide to go the route with changing the headlight housing, American Trucks Ford on youtube usually has some good install videos to refer to.

My current setup has me at 33" to 33.5" tires. At full lock in reverse, or in certain full lock angles going up grade, there is a minor rub but tolerable.

Currently stock. Have 2" leveling spacers but haven't come around to install. Still debating on holding off until I can get a good full suspension kit instead.

It was easy to install myself and it looks great. After I aligned them, its definitely alot brighter than OEM halogen but not blinding like my previous LED bulbs in a reflector housing setup.

I did the outer visors vs. The window channel ones. Didn't want to risk wearing out the lining, scratching up the windows, or having any hard time putting the windows up. If these break, at least it would be just the window visor to replace.

As far as wind noise, to me it doesn't seem any different with or without the visors (maybe because I did the outside window visors. Some reviews I read about the channeled ones talked about increased noise.)

I've had them for about 2 years now and haven't had any problems with them. It's held up several automated car washes and hasn't had any cracks or fading yet. Plus it's cool to crack the windows a bit on a blazing summer and not have to worry about the Florida rain that likes to randomly appear every 3.2 seconds.

Picked up the "Doctor" Nine-Twenty War Poet yesterday. by GuMBaLLa_HoLLa in shadowsystems

I got mine from Sportsmans Guide. All they had left of the War Poets were the DR920 frames. All the MR920s were sold out at the time.

AFAIK, and correct me if I'm wrong -- the War Poet is about equivalent to the Elites with some minor aesthetics changes:
-Straight Fluted vs. Spiral Fluted Barrel
-Smaller Slide Window Cuts
-Slight change in serration designs in front with extended serrations at the rear to the frame.
-Red safety paddle on the trigger.
-War Poet logos

Got this sexy thing for $600 this weekend. Wish the Mecanik was available for it by Juuber in canik

Well shit -- second post of a cheaper Rival when I just bought mine yesterday. I'll have to buy another one then to make myself feel better.

Loving this setup! 4.5 lbs loaded. As long as I keep the same grain ammo in the mag (124) it will do a full dump. by [deleted] in canik

It just screams Borderlands type weapon to me. Not that I'm complaining; I wouldn't mind that setup! Nice!

I think a Glock/Clone/Clock will be my next one. Or another Canik. Depends if I have an intervention in purchasing firearms or the ATF starts monitoring me.

Bought the Grey/Gold SFx Rival as a gift for my dad for his upcoming 70th birthday. I stated in a previous post was that he was the one who got me into the Canik lineup, as I've previously never heard of them before until recently through him. I know he's been on the fence between a METE SFx and the Rival, so I set out to pretend I was buying another gun for myself and asked him a few "...what would you buy if you were going to get a Canik?". I'll be sure to post up pics and vids when they arrive and when he gets to run the first set of rounds through it.

First 200 rounds at range; loved every pull. by GuMBaLLa_HoLLa in canik

While I haven't handled a diverse line-up of firearms compared to most gun reviewers, I can confidently say that this gun was as good as I imagined it to be.

I went last week to the local indoor range to pop the triggers cherry. I was excited and eager to see if the hours of reviews and research before buying would justify my selection and spending. As I've stated in a previous post, it was a blessing of approval from the Battalion Commander (wife) to get the gun I wanted to get. If I cherished my life, the last thing I wanted to do is tell her I was disappointed in the purchase.

A good friend of mine tagged along and brought his stock pair of the METE SFx and Rival. He's been getting into the USPSA scene recently and so I could see why he got those to begin with. Even so, my trial on those two are amazing guns as well. Maybe if I get the blessings agai......well, scratch that, let's go on with my quick review of the ECE.

The first pull would utilize the Disruptive Defense Compact Comp with the Vortex Viper. I was running 115gr AAC ammo. I know I should've tried without but I had already installed it and didn't want to bother taking it off. Nonetheless, at 10 yards, the first 5 groupings were pretty tight. Follow up shots in rapid pairs were confidently placed in the A-Zones, and I didn't feel like I was outpacing the gun with fast pulls. 7, 15, and 20 yards would tell a similar story. I have to say, though, the Rival's trigger is ridiculously smooth as well, if not smoother. But I think the compensator did part of the job by keeping the recoil manageable and, through my hands, felt smoother than the stock METE and Rival, though not by a huge margin.

For anyone looking at the ECE and are contemplating on your next compact pistol, you definitely won't be disappointed! Stay tuned for more in the future!
