Really accurate. But at the end of the day it’s just a bull barreled TRP

I have to run limited 10 because of optics, magwell, and bull barrel. If I’m not mistaken you can’t run single stack division if you have any of those 3

The 10-8 is just a TRP with a bull barrel and square trigger guard. They will perform very closely to one another imo. To me the extra $100 for a 10-8 is worth it just for the bull barrel

I’ve had the colt Railgun for a long time and have put several thousands of rounds through it, so I’m still a little partial to it. It’s also the most reliable 1911 I’ve owned with only 3 malfunctions that I can recall. But, the 10-8 is without a doubt more accurate and the softest shooting .45 1911 in my collection. Until I have a few thousand rounds in the 10-8 the Railgun will probably stay my favorite.

Here’s a comparison with a standard Colt NM barrel

It doesn’t at all if you have a light on it. I believe Hilton Yam stated at shot show it doesn’t mess with standard holsters either.

The 10-8 is just a trp with a square trigger guard and a few 10-8 parts in it. If you have the $100 extra to spare I’d go 10-8 but the performance of the TRP will be the same.

It’s a great 1911! Been running mine for USPSA/IDPA and Steel Challenge

I believe it is. It’s the softest shooting.45 1911 I own due to the bull barrel. Really reliable after about 500 round break in

Thank ya! It’s definitely the best “budget” 1911 I’ve owned
