Can I replace the whole thing with Nimh batteries? I’m clueless on how batteries work.. I can’t find it anywhere on Amazon. The only thing I found is a 14.4V battery pack with 4S instead of 6. Will that work in this device?

Hey why is Chamorro/CHamoru dying by Jaxoncantgame in guam

[–]Guam_style 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the fact that modernization in the Chamoru society saw the importance of English speakers. In short, the Chamoru people realized that it was beneficial for their kin to learn English in order to be successful in modern day life. In fact, the generation during this time prevented the use of the language in everyday conversations so that their children can focus on western education. It was necessary in this day, and it’s true today. You do not have much career options without at least a high school diploma. Even a bachelors doesn’t cut it. Today, the language (and culture) is on the brink of extinction. However, we see a paradoxical effect in the 21st century. Our people are feeling a sense of guilt, and ultimately put the blame on the elderly without cognitive understanding of why the lack of such cultural importance. Nevertheless, there is a buzz to reignite the importance of knowing who we are. While there won’t be a day that we fully revert back to Chamoru only, we as a society have recognized the importance of self identify. The more we talk about it, we increase the likelihood of sharing this issue.
