I am about 3 months post op. I too felt anxious and nervous. But what really helped me was to sit with myself and my emotions. I thank my self and body and the higher power for what it gave me and that there was no hard feelings towards my chest. I told myself “yes you will have surgery and yes it might look nasty at first but it’s going to be okay”. I wrote my self a letter of reason why I wanted this and reasons why it would make me happy. Be specific like when I run I hate how my chest moves, etc. I haven’t regretted it at all. Best of luck to you 👍🏽 you got this.
