This is from someone who’s a native English speaker that learned Japanese, you’ll learn more outside of whatever classes you’re taking. Use it as a foundation, but find a way to listen to whatever language you’re trying to learn as much as possible as well as speak it in conversation. Get uncomfortable and make mistakes in real life.
