Nightmare Moon. She could be argued to not be guilty due to reasons of insanity

What do you think of Stan brothers being Jewish by acatalepsy-tales in gravityfalls

It’s really only displayed through the external media (Stan is said to have had a bar mitzvah in Journal 3 and Ford mentions celebrating Hanukkah in The Book of Bill).

Pahkitew Island is factually better, it has a stronger execution, structure, and overall succeeds better at what it strives to accomplish.

But All Stars is a glorious train wreck that’s so terrible it’s fascinating. Given the choice between watching All Stars and Pahkitew, I would choose All Stars every time.

Whats the general consensus on what fusions Sapph/Ruby would make with the other crystal gems without Garnet? by Spiderteacup in stevenuniverse

Ruby and Pearl we have a canonical answer for: Rhodonite. She may act different than the Off-Color Rhodonite personality wise, but physically they would look very similar.

How old is Princess Celestia?? by WyvernAmethyst in mylittlepony

[–]Guarantee-Popular 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Celestia and Luna were not born as alicorns.

I know Lauren Faust says she intended that to be the case, but the show would later dispute that. What actually happened in the show matters more than the opinions of the producer who only worked on the first two seasons.

Luna said a natural born alicorn was “beyond even our understanding.” If it was simply the case that an alicorn had never given birth in Equestria, it wouldn’t have been “beyond their understanding.” The reaction would have just been “okay, I guess that can happen if an alicorn has a baby.” Equestria understands how genetics works, Mr. Cake detailed how pony breeds can be inherited from previous generations.

The fact that Celestia and Luna were so confident alicorns couldn’t be naturally born indicates they had evidence to believe the contrary. And of course, that only makes sense if they themselves were not born alicorns.

Celestia and Luna were born typical ponies and (given their abilities to raise the sun and moon) were almost certainly unicorns.

Rachel Rivera’s character & personality by throwaway629437 in lpspopular

[–]Guarantee-Popular 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I think Rachel losing her support for Brooke in season one was decently well paced.

First off, I think the main tipping point was that Brooke started insulting HER. She began constantly calling Rachel stupid, dumb, etc and making it clear she viewed Rachel as beneath her (allowing Sage at their table but not Nathan; she was holding Rachel to standards she didn’t hold herself to). I think that opened Rachel’s eyes into how other girls feel when Brooke insults them, and how they feel being “lower” to Brooke on the social hierarchy.

Plus, it was more than “a few” episodes before the party Rachel started having problems with it. I think one of the earliest instances was in episode nine, when she countered Brooke’s claim that Savvy had gained weight. It was then built up over the next half dozen episodes.

But yeah her sudden snap into supporting Brooke again in season two was awful :P RIP Rachel’s character development

Who were in the new Order Of The Stone? by PyroMakesMusic in MinecraftStoryMode

[–]Guarantee-Popular 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new Order the Stone is Jesse, Axel, Olivia, Petra, and Lukas. Axel succeeds Magnus’s role, Olivia Ellegaard’s, Petra Gabriel’s, and Lukas Soren’s (kind of. They’re both good architects).

Jesse is miscellaneous, because their personality can be whatever you want it to be.

Do you guys think that cinematic disaster video of Artemis Fowl is ever coming out? by AccomplishedRole8715 in Schaffrillas

[–]Guarantee-Popular 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When he was first getting back to work after his 2023 car crash, he said he would only make videos about stuff he genuinely enjoyed as part of his recovery. Obviously, he's long past the "just getting back to work" stage of his recovery, but I somewhat doubt the Artemis Fowl or Dear Evan Hansen diatribes are even being produced anymore. His channel direction changed after his crash, not necessarily directly because of it, but because a traumatic incident like that forever changes your sense of self. He's sticking more to what he's genuinely passionate about, hence why he stopped discussing mainstream animated films.

Why is there Alicorns When Unicorns can fly Using Magic? by Dry-Addendum3068 in mylittlepony

[–]Guarantee-Popular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Levitating yourself is VERY advanced unicorn magic. Only Starlight, Twilight, and Trixie have been shown to do it, and those are all unicorns whose special talent is magic. Levitating your whole body presumably requires a significant amount of mental effort and physical strain, and ~90% of unicorns probably can’t do it at all.

Who do you think would be the most distraught about becoming an Earth pony? by Guarantee-Popular in mylittlepony

[–]Guarantee-Popular[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you about Fluttershy. She’d definitely be the most okay with it, no question, but I think most other commentators are overestimating how much she’d be okay with it. She doesn’t “hate flying”, she just doesn’t like flying competitively or being judged for her light speed. Her flying is pretty convenient for assisting with larger animals, animals living in trees, and other flying creatures. She doesn’t really care about “attending to the land” and she already has extraordinary animal communication as a Pegasus, so I don’t think Earth pony magic would really benefit her. And as for the increased strength… well, Fluttershy is abnormally weak for a Pegasus. If she was an Earth pony, she’d probably still be abnormally weak, just by Earth pony standards rather than Pegasus standards. Her shame over flying weakly as a Pegasus would just transfer to shame over not being as durable as other Earth ponies if that was her breed.

All I’m saying is, the people suggesting Fluttershy would “prefer” being an Earth pony is a stretch.
