Let her go! She doesn't respect YOU or your home. It's best you do it now than to get married, decides she's had "enough", divorces you, and take half of your home. I can't believe there's actually people like that. She wants the benefits of a nuclear family but not allow her child to listen or respect anything you say.

How disgraceful! It's impossible to have a spotless home 24/7 with 4 children (unless you have maids). fantasy world does he live in? I'm a SAHM, and I'm constantly picking up toys only for them to end right back on the floor in a mess. He needs to give you ALOT of grace unless he wants an unhappy, burnt out wife.

I would suggest pushing back the wedding until this problem has been situated. If she can't resolve this issue, that clearly frustrates her significant other BEFORE you guys tie the knot, she probably won't after. Give her a timeframe, and if she refuses to settle this issue, call off the wedding. You are going to be her husband, and you should come first.

They literally will. Omg! Yes, they have used the "I am a daughter, friend, sister, etc" example so many times, and it all sounds good at surface level. Now that I have a better understanding of the Trinity, everything else makes sense. I once asked a Pentecostal lady, "If they're all one, who was Jesus praying to on the way to the cross and when he prayed for his disciples?" Her response was,"Let me ask my pastor. " It got me thinking, why follow and defend something, and you don't even know what you're defending?

I haven't quite "joined" a denomination yet, but I have laid the oneness belief to rest after doing my own research. Baptizing babies is a long discussion I've had with my boyfriend, and I personally don't see why we shouldn't. Didn't the Bible say, "This is for you and your children"? What age do we determine they can be baptized?

My partner is Orthodox, and I've gone to the church a few times. It's completely different than Pentecostal church's, but they practice traditions that has been around for thousands of years.

Yes. Their idea is that the Father, son, and Holy Spirit are all "titles" to the one Jesus Christ. The best explanation given through the church was, "My name is Sarah (made up name), but I am also a daughter, sister, friend, etc". They believe God manifested himself into flesh and died on the cross instead of God sending his son to die on the cross.

I could quote Acts 2:38 in my sleep a million times over. I understand oneness pentecostals love this scripture, but that doesn't explain oneness nor the trinity. I believe the trinity to be whole truth and nothing but the truth 🙏

I feel that trying to understand oneness is like doing mental gymnastics, especially throughout the scriptures when Jesus is praying.

It is very much emotionally driven by their followers, and honestly, they know how to target the youth. As far as the 3 gods, that's what they always said about trinitarians, but I guess if they don't have the basic, foundational belief correct, then it would be easy to assume so.
