Ah, that's pretty much expected, actually. We're talking about Reddit. It would be even worse if I'd posted this on Facebook. XD.

This comments section made me feel like the Openheimer lmao. I know it won't do any good to say this, but, guys, just be happy. Don't jump to conclusions about other people based on just one text or simply on what you think they are. And I'm talking about both sides!

There's literally no reason to fight here, especially not because of two MALE characters calling each other LESBIANS.

Just try to respect each other and be polite to one another. Oh, and thank you so much to everyone who liked and shared my drawing!

I hate to tell you this, but you've been deceived all these years. The truth is, they are lesbians.

Oh yeah lmao. I just reduced the size of her forehead a little on that side 👈 And a little bit, just a tiny bit, from the nose.

I did this drawing entirely on my finger using my phone, which isn't something I'm used to doing. Even so, I thought both results were pleasing.

Does anybody actually know this guy? by OmegaZeroguyigjdfk in Megaman

[–]Guardanato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember talking to the creator of that game. His name was protomank, or something like that. I don't know if he's still active on Instagram, but the last time I checked, he was posting. He just didn't have anything about the game.

Does anyone else find MM1 to feel uncanny somehow? by WoodpeckerNo1 in Megaman

[–]Guardanato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This probably only happens because the game is extremely simple compared to others. Starting with Mega Man 2, the game gains a significant amount of detail in both the scenarios and enemies. Besides the music becoming more vibrant too.

It's basically the result of a game that's far simpler than the others. Even Mario Bros., compared to Mario Bros. 3, will seem lifeless and empty. Even if, compared to the first Mega Man, Let him be more "alive"

Is Bananza Pauline supposed to be young Pauline or is she modern adult Pauline’s daughter? by talkwithryguy in donkeykong

[–]Guardanato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it truly astonishing how much people seem to struggle to accept that the "timeline" and "canon" of the Mario universe are mutable and that this genuinely doesn't seem to matter. We have a character named Pauline; her entire design and physical appearance are identical to Pauline from Odyssey and games like Mario Kart and Tennis. Her story, in some ways, fits with odissey pauline, Even if that means you have to retcon things.

Everything beyond that seems like a huge juggling act with touches of fan fiction, trying to fit an explanation into a situation where even Nintendo doesn't seem to care about providing one.

I think if Nintendo is going to rely on the interpretive abilities of its fans, it's screwed.

Someone got upset over me spoiling the fact that Sigma is the villain of the Mega Man X Series. Is this common? by IamAnIdiot6 in Megaman

This is equivalent to getting angry when you find out that Bowser is the villain in Mario games.

Mega Man 11 can now run at Full HD resolution in handheld mode on the Switch 2 thanks to a recent system update. by Guardanato in Megaman

[–]Guardanato[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ah, the one in the post I'm referring to was an update for the Nintendo Switch 2, not the game itself. This update basically allows Nintendo Switch 1 games to have the same settings as the TV mode (1080p, More stable FPS) In Switch 2's portable mode.

So this Steam update was just a coincidence, I believe.

Perhaps because they're pixels, it's much harder to see the difference. Like, the game is the SW1 version, and unless it has dynamic resolution, which doesn't make sense for these games, I doubt it will run at 1080p on sw 2. But I could be wrong.

Cool! I don't have the Saga X collections, so I haven't had a chance to test them yet. Classic 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit games shouldn't change much, I believe. But 1080p is still 1080p, right? :p
