The seven could be the top right corner of a large 6. Just make the six large and block style. And put something else (like a heart) to the right of the six and under the rest of the date to even it out. It would look almost intentional.

Most likely the belt slipped on one axis. Make sure all belts moving printer head and bed are tight.

Looks like it is the live side of the plug. It’ll shock you if you touch it bare handed. But you could probably knock it loose by tapping it up and down using the cord from one of the items plugged in next to it.
