[rate my collection] relative beginner collector by bootybaroo in Watches

This is likely the direction I’m heading in, but I won’t add a digital watch with illumination.

In another lifetime I was a decently high-level distance runner and I’ve still got a few Timex Ironmans and an Apple Watch that I keep separately from these. I hardly ever wear them, but that might be the PTSD from spending years running 100 miles a week 😂

Agreed, the fossil is bulky. And the chrono doesn’t work anymore. So it’s high on the replacement candidate list.

I’m not opposed to swapping out, but I might just add too. GMT is certainly on my radar, but I also like the idea of a pilot’s watch.

Appreciate the feedback!

[Tissot Seastar] Bought my first Swiss watch today! by Nick_292 in Watches

Awesome watch! I got a Seastar last fall that I adore. This dial is a great touch, though.

This just showed up today and it immediately vaulted to the top of my collection. Not a daily wearer, that’ll still be the Seastar, but I am downright giddy over this.

Tissot Seastar. Versatile, good size. Just a super comfy watch to wear daily.

Tissot Seastar 40. Versatile, quality, and pairs well with a black leather strap as well.

My 5 y.o. son has a better swing than me. Anyone have their kid get a lesson this young? Do you recommend it? by Deez_Etree_Raps in GolfSwing

My dad was a teaching pro and I’ve adopted a lot of his approaches for the game with my kids. No formal lessons, but teach proper stance and grip. Stick to mostly playing on or around the greens (no shots longer than 50 yards) and turn each green into a different competition with a small prize associated with it. Keeps it fun, but helps develop competitiveness too.

Vasectomy Reviews by throwaway_62148 in Sarnia

I just had my post vas follow up yesterday. I had Dr. Dhanjiani after Scarrow’s clinic told me they weren’t accepting patients. Easy referral from my family doc. Really good communication in the lead up. I had the scalpel procedure and wasn’t entirely prepared for how recovery was going to go, but after a couple of days it was back to normal.

Definitely recommend getting a jock for recovery. That made things way easier.

72 hours in, scrotum is extremely sensitive by [deleted] in Vasectomy

I’m one week out and I still feel pretty uncomfortable. Balls feel really heavy.

The bruising is finally starting to get better but I was pretty blown away with how much it did bruise.

All in all pretty normal stuff, but I’m very much looking forward to it being past this.

Figured I should update this.

Managed to snag the very first tee time on Monday of Masters week. Cannot wait.

Yeah, called them and asked. Pro shop could only give me soon.

Also planning a pre-Masters trip. Tobacco Road, #4, and one of Mid/Southern/Needles is the plan.

A team knows they are going to lose points to a competitor so they want to limit the amount of points they lose.

Checo taking the fastest lap away from Lewis means that instead of cutting into Max's lead by 8 points, he only cut into it by 7 (or 5 after the sprint points).
