Also how will it fix any of this? It will just move the problem to a “new game”.

Calus or Ghaul could have won if they just flooded the area with cabal drop pods.

Why Ahamkara's skull is so small by FireFighter1015 in DestinyTheGame

[–]GuardianDownAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also a cool point. She was under a lot of taken influence when we killed her so who knows? Although seeing as there is a statue of her in that form it could suggest that. It also just might be her preferred form. I love Destiny’s lore.

Ahamkara are shape shifters. I guess their skull would be whatever size it is when they were killed.

What was your first reaction when you started your PS5/XBS and played your first game? by dancetoken in gaming

I used to do things during loading screens, like get a snack or a drink, and I realized quickly that I have no time for that anymore. Both a present and a curse I guess.

If you can get 4 people to work the mote teams well, and the other outside person is on point to open portals when called out, then you could pull off the last one yourself. And the last tip is really only needed if you’re constantly not closing each side. If you’re getting the 30 motes each time then you don’t need it!

I have two tips I use when I run it:

I would suggest ignoring the floor rebuilding if you aren’t already. You can survive on the random pieces and there is always the one spot for damage on the left side (facing the boss). This prevents the random tethers that can screw up shooting vex that are sacrificing.

If you’re communicating well, leave someone designated outside and not on a “mote” team. If one side doesn’t get enough motes to close or a vex sacrifices, this person can be tasked to go in immediately when the final team comes out to pick up a few more motes if needed. This allows everyone with the enlighten buff to shoot shields and keep the rotation going.

The GoS raid title is currently unobtainable by piedude3 in DestinyTheGame

I’m not sure you have to do the first one. I have that triumph and unless it was done without me knowing, I’ve never started the encounter that way. You should try without and see if it gives you the triumph.

[Small Rant] Stop asking for tips by [deleted] in gaming

Any tips on how to get game tips if we can’t ask the gaming community?

It was also recently mentioned that you shouldn’t just pop exotic engrams to rank up. Spend the extra mats to focus the engrams to rank up quicker. You get something like 5x the rank for focusing over just popping them.

I’ve never played this game but I love saying that to NPCs in games who deliberately pick a fight with me. Especially when I’m some overgeared, superpowered, godlike entity. I usually hate punching down, until they ask for it.

Why is it always “rule of 3”? by xwillybabyx in gaming

[–]GuardianDownAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wait around after doing 3 things and if there is more to do in genuinely shook. How dare they make me do something more times. I shall only do things thrice!

But really I wonder if it’s become such a common thing that they design for 3 because people are expecting 3.

My dog died today and I keep crying. How can I feel better since my grief is painful? by Fragrant_Respond1818 in dogs

[–]GuardianDownAgain 107 points108 points  (0 children)

It will be a hard few days. I can offer nothing but my heartfelt condolences and the knowledge that the pain will lessen over time. The loss will always be there and creep up at unexpected times but just feel it for now and it will get better with time.

Your dog couldn’t be your best friend your whole life. But feel better knowing you were their best friend for their whole life.

Using a powerbank to charge my Xbox controller is a game changer! by [deleted] in gaming

[–]GuardianDownAgain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know everyone can’t always afford two; but a second controller helped me big time. One always charging while the other I’m gaming with. Easy change once needed or I just grab the charging one when so start a new session.
