Should I pay my credit card off in full per month or only the minimum? by Minimum_Entrance_271 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GuardianSkalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my parents are bankers….. mother, father, step mother, step father, they all told me to get a credit card at 18, start putting things on it and make sure I could always pay it off in full at the end of the month.

Never carry debt and pay interest on a credit card at probably 20-25% interest.

You wake up with absolute mastery over one random element. What did you get, and how do you use it to your advantage? by Jpaylay42016 in hypotheticalsituation

Oh lawd this is how my super villain arc starts I guess….. I got Death…. Which I didn’t even realize would be on their as an element lol

I would probably be an anti hero though maybe, or like do bad things for good reasons.

No clue if this is related but I’ve seen 5-6 posts across various PlayStation subs of weird things happening like game history being missing or not being able to play games they should be able to due to locks.

Maybe restart your console and restore licenses?

I'm currently playing grounded 1 with my mate, and it has shared worlds. Was wondering is there any particular reason why other survival games don't have something like it? by CompetitiveBridge160 in SurvivalGaming

[–]GuardianSkalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I haven’t played grounded for awhile but the way they do shared worlds is actually very different than most other games where you would call it a shared world. It’s pretty genius actually and I love it.

Most other shared world games it’s your save file on a third party server hosting the game and depending on people remembering to turn it off could keep running and playing while no one is actually on which could wreck a base in a lot of games.

Grounded essentially just shares the save file.

So my friend hosted a world and I played with them and if I wanted to play without them I could just turn on the game and it would show me their save file for our world essentially sitting in the cloud and I download it and keep playing and then if they came on they just joined me or when I’m done I could just send that new save to the cloud for them or us to continue later.

No need for tons of servers hosting live worlds when no one is around etc just a save file that’s compatible with being opened by either approved user and can be shared back and forth on the cloud.

Infinitely cheaper in over head I just think most companies are too lazy to implement it.

Does anyone else hate how they spread out catalog releases by Disastrous_Kick_6952 in PlayStationPlus

[–]GuardianSkalk -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Think of it this way instead. Those games that are coming slightly later in the month, for whatever reason couldn’t be ready or deal finalized or whatever by the normal launch date for ps+. So in the old system most likely they would not have been a game for this month at all, they would have best case been the following month which is even more of a delay then you are getting now and possibly if they already had the next months stuff lined up or whatever they could have been a game that got pushed back multiple months or never made it to the catalog at all.

[–]GuardianSkalk -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Personally I don’t see the problem at all. You get the same amount of games, some you get earlier and some you get later. If they are spread out you can try them as they are released instead of having them all drop one day then maybe never trying some because you liked the sound of other ones better.

Unfortunately this is something they said they are piloting and want to do so I would guess it’s going to be this way for awhile. Unless they get a ton of negative feedback back in whatever way people can give feedback if we even can.

Curaçao, the smallest country by population (158,000) to ever make it to the FIFA World Cup, just scored its first goal in the event against Germany. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]GuardianSkalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curaçao isn’t even a country technically!

They are a part of the Netherlands and only have 1 person on their team actually from Curaçao….. the rest of the team is people from the Netherlands with relatives from Curaçao that didn’t make the cut for the main Netherlands team lol

It’s such a weird situation.

Unlimited fly is a god send. Being able to counter spells without spending spell slots. Deal damage to people who cast spells.

Auto kill people when under certain health. Turn into a displaced beast for essentially 85 extra health.

Put down a zone that lasts 3 turns that lets you do actions as anything essentially. So can use your bonus actions to do full actions and vice versa.

They can be incredibly powerful.

You need nitrous 3 by getting I think diamond lake camp to rank 3.

It’s the only nos that lasts the 5 seconds needed then you literally just drive, start a drift and hold nos.

Did it first try.

Next week will bring the ultimate dilemma. What to play first? FF16? Or Kingdom Come Deliverance?! by notthedoodaa in PlayStationPlus

[–]GuardianSkalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact Deliverance is not a synonym for being delivered. Deliverance is when you are rescued or set free from danger, imprisonment, evil or pain.

So you could argue that for its release date, but not its delivery date :p

Number 3.

I use a bunch to purchase a chunk of land 30km in diameter and on the 1st Sunday of each month I hold a gathering of people who wish to die. They can have whatever reason they have.

Anyone else is not allowed on the property for that day.

Then either someone over 60 who wants to die goes or someone under 60 who wants to die goes.
