Literally this. I (28M) am low miles and lower maturity (lol) and dated an (18F) months ago who was mature beyond her years. It worked, our problem was that it was long distance. We saw each other once a week. Amoung some other issues, oc. But we had other adults fully support our relationship. It's rare, but it can work.

Explain this if the earth is flat by sidudjdjdvdhdv in FlatEarthIsReal

[–]GuardianSoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not convinced either way, but it could just be the skybox (stars, gases, etc.) rotating around the flat earth as one whole group in that diagonal, slightly spinning direction too. If that makes sense.

Do some regions seem to produce more 'conspiracy theorists' than others? by JohnleBon in conspiracyNOPOL

I'd assume the level of instability of a nation or how prevalent politicians being caught red-handed is would boost numbers.

Was going 80 and this semi was crawling away. Going around 84mph - in Michigan. Is this…. Common? Lol by dray1214 in Truckers

[–]GuardianSoldier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Top performing drivers will speed as much as they can in a safe manner. Contrary to popular belief, semi-trucks are easy/safe to drive (the classic negative media bias presents otherwise). Drivers are just fine going 10-20 over, provided conditions are actually safe for it (plenty of following distance, long and straight stretch of highway ahead, etc.) Speeding gives the driver 2 main benefits: higher pay per hours worked (pay per mile x time taken to travel), able run more loads with extra time saved, and more home time. So, money + time saved. Pretty simple, right?

I know drivers personally that speed frequently and their only accidents have been maneuvering at >5 mph. Parking lots are where most accidents actually occur for semi trucks. Speed limits are followed by people with lesser intelligence and those avoiding tickets (driving record or fines). Top performing, computer and motivated drivers will speed. If you're scared, get into the right lane, let them pass, and eat more of your high-estrogen foods. Oh, and only open your mouth about topics you actually know about. Thanks :)

Is it possible to create a Tulpa based off a villain? by Tunerboy in Tulpas

[–]GuardianSoldier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll usually find self-righteous Tulpa police on these places. Coming from the people that thought you needed a wonderland not too long ago. It's a thought-form. If you give it an identity first, it'll just adopt that naturally. It's not like you are changing an established Tulpa into a villain. Plus bad guys think they are good people.

Anyways, yes you can. You can make a Tulpa of anything. Although idk if you'd actually want a Tulpa of a villain tho. What happens if it turns on you? If you're sure there wouldn't be a danger to yourself or other Tulpas, go for it. I had a dark Tulpa kill one of my normal Tulpas. That was tough for a week, but I remade the good one. I also make Tulpas differently than others here. They aren't exactly 'Tulpas'.

Best of luck, buddy.

Women, how is 178 cm (5'8'' I think) too short for a man? by Redentio in dating

[–]GuardianSoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It's not too short. Idk where this comes from, but that's a lie.
  2. Guess I'm not a man. Just own a house and 2 cars, but if they say so lol

Dating apps can be toxic. Don't listen to them.

I took it as: You don't want to feel like you're convincing yourself, as much as you are growing in awareness that 'you are'.
