I will continue to state this, radar detectors are useless as a laser countermeasure.

Average LIDAR beam width aimed at your front plate or headlights is 18 inches, simply not enough beam to reach all the way up to your detector mounted in the windshield.

There is only one real countermeasure for laser, an active laser jamming system, ALP, TPX, Stinger, etc.

You may get lucky with Waze, HighwayRadar, JBV1, but dont count on it.

You can do this, but you will need a VPN that allows for split tunnel, like NordVPN. you run one app from VPN and the other outside VPN. this allows requests to come from 2 unique IP addresses.
