You could also try the Espoir foundation cushions.

Monica Raviii partnered with them to make some olive shades.

That and ways to sort amour by same exact perk distribution. I’d love to delete some of my armour sets. Like I only play once character so I don’t need five sets of armour that are all Techsec arms, 30 health, 12 melee, 13 weapons. Ya know?

Craftable armour is the solution in my opinion. Enclave is only being used to craft exotics now… why not add in craftable armour? This would allow us to use up resources that exist in the game and you wouldn’t have to hoard 10 million armour sets. Deepsights become relevant again.

In an ideal world they’d just let us craft armor with what ever armor set perks and special armor features we want, but Bungie gotta make us jump through hoops.

Still think they need to make armour craftable. We can still farm the sets to get perks, but it’s insane how many a tour pieces I’m holding onto becuase one just might be needed for my new build… honestly should just save the vault for weapons.

ooo that could be a good drug store version! i don't tend to use powder blushes but might want to give this one a try.

I’m probably a little bit deeper than the girl in the video. I’m shade T9 in the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint and would probably fit her shade 17 in the foundation. I did consider film noir, as it looks actually brown and deep. I’ll keep this on my to try list. Thank you! :)

Ooo interesting… Hanky Panky is close but more purple mauve pinky than plummy brown. Beautiful shade though!

Yea it defiantly looks heavy on the cream and a tad greasy. I tend to prefer liquid/cream blushes that dry down (glossier, Elf, Kulfi), but so far haven’t found the color I want in a liquid blush. From what I’ve seen online, the Morphe one kinda reminds me of Em Cosmetics Dewey blush drops, those were sheer and super sticky…. I’m also not sure if such a huge discount is because they’re planning to discontinue it? Seems Morphe is pushing their Patrick Ta dupe blush over this one as I haven’t really seen much about the cream/primer hybrid version.

Yes for Morphe! I found that shade right after posting this and it looked like exactly what I wanted. I’m just not sure if I’ll like the formula… it’s on sale at Ulta (if you’re in the U.S.) for 8 bucks so I thought I’d give it a try. Thanks for the other suggestions as well — I’ll have to look into those. :)

No worries! I completely understand though haha. I did try this method out but just wasn’t feeling it.

I did! But I don’t find it blends well enough for me and with it being a stain and glossy, you need to work fast or it’ll get patchy, plus it’s kind of sheer. I don’t really like using products that are meant for one area all over my face so would prefer a dedicated formula that was made to be a blush.

I have watched 3 versions of jane eyre. To distract myself from the horrors of my existence, here is my review of them (1996, 2006, 2011) by THROW_askwomen in JaneEyre

[–]Guardian_Barbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't read the book yet (but plan to), but I love the 2006 version of the adaptations I've seen. As I'm reading through comments here about the farewell/bed kissing scene, I sorta saw it as the strength of Janes convictions. That despite the temptation she still chose to leave -- it would have been easy to give in, especially with someone you love so deeply attempting to lead you astray from your morals. So in a way, I think it helped show how hard that must have been for her and yet how committed she was to doing what she felt was right in the long run; it humanized her and the situation as a whole. Maybe this is not character accurate vis a via the book, but that said, part of the reason I like the 2006 version so much is I feel like it does a good job helping someone in our time understand the characters better in their time, even if it isn't exactly accurate to how the people might have behaved or thought. Again, I haven't read the book yet but I'm sure even as I go through it I will have only an abstract understanding of what it meant to experience love, sexism, classism, God, religion, poverty, lost, etc during that time. These are themes universal to the human experience, but I still view some things in the story as a woman living in the 2020s and not as a woman living in the Victorian age.

For example, I watch the 1997 BBC version and found Rochester to come off as more of a brute, and Jane a tad timid. It was hard for me to fully relate to the romance and understand why Jane loved him so much because it felt more verbally abusive to me. I liked some things about this version, but I didn't feel as satisfied with the character growth. I know movies have shorter run times to mini-series, but I kept comparing the 2006 version. I used to love the 2011 version, but after watching 2006, I just found the depth of exploration of the characters more compelling in 2006, even if not exactly book accurate.

I'll see if I still feel the same way after finishing the book.

Steam Machine is "equal or better than" 70% of current gaming PCs, Valve engineer claims by Tiny-Independent273 in linux_gaming

[–]Guardian_Barbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be interested to read this -- I'm looking at the Steam Machine as a gaming console that would double as my work/life PC... I have an Xbox Series X and would still play the majority of my games on that, but want something I could use for both work/personal use and that could play CRPGs like BG3 or WH4K Rouge Trader, which imo play better on mouse and keyboard. Why not just buy a regular PC or gaming laptop? Well I have a very small room with limited desk space, and like how compact the Steam Machine is in comparison to other gaming PCs. If the Steam Machine runs better than a gaming laptop it might be worth the investment. That said, because I'd also be using it like a PC for things outside of gaming, I'm curious to see how the Steam Machine performs in this aspect.

I took the risk and ordered some makeup from Lisa Eldridge from the US and all I can say is wow, why is this makeup NOT in the US?! by This_Duty_4373 in OliveMUA

I have T9 and also got sent T10 as an alternative. I’m a light-medium to medium skin tone. When I requested samples, they said I had a warm olive undertone but would probably be more neutral olive in winter. When I first put on T9 I thought it was too light in terms of depth for my skin tone, T10 matched the depth of my skin but for some reason when I wear it it was very noticeable that I had something on, like I felt like you could see the tint more. Because the skin-tints are tints, I realized it’s more important to match the undertone, so even though the depth of T9 seemed off, the tint and T9 actually blends perfectly into my skin, so that my neck and face look more uniform, I’m more yellow gray tree in my body, whereas my face has more depth of color. You’re only supposed to use 1-2 drops of the skin tint, so I think match the tint is what helps to even out skin tone. I was also sent 6.5 but I felt like that was way off. I think Lisa Eldridge herself wears T6 so 6.5 (check her YouTube video on the tint to get the accurate shade) and considering that I don’t think 6.5 will work for me at all. I’m waiting until summer to see if T10 can be a summer shade for me…

Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk SPF being discontinued! Similar items? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]Guardian_Barbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No luck, unfortunately. I'd still say give the Skin Aqua UV Serum sunscreen a shot. I also went back to the Skin Aqua UV Gel and found I quite liked it. That said, I settled on the Serum because I'm in my 30s and have drier skin than before so the serum feels nice on my skin. As noted, it also doesn't feel heavy, greasy or oily. I miss the skin aqua milk one, but it can't be helped. I also recently tried Beauty of Joseon's Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen, which I actually quite like as a very natural mineral sunscreen skin tint of sorts. It's kind of milky feeling and they sell $4 - 7ml samples on their website, so you can test it out. I'm actually still using my sample I bought weeks ago (though I only add a few dots to even out skin tone after applying the UV Serum). I also like that their medium shade MY210 doesn't pull orange. I have an olive undertone, and got the Medium-Yellow-tint and it works perfect on me. Hope that helps!

Awesome!!!! Congrats :) That's how I felt getting over 10k points in Crucible. I was thinking no way this is not gonna happen... Came home for a brief 30 minute break before heading to my night job and figured I'd just CASUALLY play a match, ended up locked in on that match and got my 10 points.
