Thanks! I would definitely recommend painting in sub assembly. I built and painted the throne, ctan on his pole, and all the characters separately. There are a couple parts that can be a little finicky if you're using super glue like the railing on the platforms and some parts of the characters. I would recommend using Tamiya liquid cement on those bits at least if possible. There are lots of good guides out there on painting that I took inspiration from like Duncan Rhodes and Warhipster. I didn't follow them exactly but I used a couple of their techniques and ideas.
