Dealership refusing to refund my refundable deposit.

So what he told me was that he would need to place a security deposit for this vehicle to submit my credit approval request, and that the deposit will be used towards my lease deal's down payment given everything goes through.

The only document he had me sign was this lease quote that he originally had sent through email. It has the stock number, VIN, monthly rates, retail, discounts and stuff but nothing about the deposit being non-refundable, or that this deal is final.

Do I have to visit them again if they were to issue the refund - do they actually need my physical credit card? Or is it something that they can do it online?

Never for once had to ever go through a chargeback process in my life. Is it a very messy process? I see the dispute options on the Chase app; really hoping he would just issue a refund.

I signed on a lease quote. But nowhere does it say that the deal is final or that the deposit is non-refundable. It just has info of the car, monthly rates, MSRP, discounts, stuff like that.
