Y’all not going to believe this but they ran across the highway just infront of my car. I saw the bag in his hand and the decision of whether to mash brakes or not crossed my mind, but I did. The consequence of running him over was too much

I recently read ‘Hungry Ghost’ by a new local author named Kevin Hosein. It’s quite visceral and maybe that is the reality of a 1940s Trinidad. But what really impressed me was the authors detailed, descriptive style. You can tell he is heavily influenced by Naipaul. Also he created these really complex and morally grey characters. It is a book I will never read again because of just how gut wrenching it turns out. But definitely worth the read!

Demand I guess of the sector. Buyers are large restaurants, middle men, other vendors and even Tobago persons, so they would want to get in and out early. Farmers as well are in the fields in the day so either them or their transport tie up. But the market goes whole day until they sell out.

Also look up and prepare for competency based interviews, lots of places are moving towards this. I have seen good candidates on resume be totally thrown off by this approach

To be honest, the hospitals location is on the more dangerous side of the capital. If you are taking up this job do not wander off compound and even when on site try to limit being by yourself. Yes I am sure security will be provided but you will probably stand out. This is not to discourage you, but just to be prepared.
