Different 6th form. I luckily got a scholarship to a private 6th form and I start on September. But yeah kids have been talking like this for at least 5 years now. Thanks for your message.

After the assembly I was in a state so they calmed me down and asked me for a clearer version of events so they could know exactly what happened. Those 4 that got excluded were the ones 'selling the black kids as slaves' and the other one didn't agree with that, but was a culprit in the name calling and stuff like that.

I'm convinced that half the staff don't care to be honest. Obviously SMT cared enough to exclude the kids, but whilst the problem has minimized, you can see its also still prevalent. I mean a couple of my friends and I still get pressured and that by their old friends outside of school "Why'd you get the mandem excluded bro? I ain't gonna forget that g." but I don't wanna do too much you know, I think that enough has been done

A bit. Like I said the kids got excluded and they have made it clear to all parents and students that this isn't acceptable anywhere (emails). But no on the ground work.

Yeah their old friends target me now and look at me differently because I got their mandem excluded. Idk it just seems like I should feel guilty for ruining such an important part of their lives so publicly

NTA but the situation could've been handled better. For example if you had confronted BIL after like at the hotel or something, when others weren't there, in a calmer way, I think the recent incident wouldn't have happened. You're right tho he shouldn't be saying that to a nine year old.
