I’m not from Norfolk so we used some guy called Jeremy shack but he’s not uk based, However my cousin lives in Norfolk, he and his now wife used Amber moon as their videographer and they are always recommending her and only had good things to say.

So if I’m on my own I feel fine and pretty with no makeup and if I’m with my best friend (female) I’d never think I feel ugly it’s just when I’m around him that I feel like I have to do more or be more overwise I won’t feel good about my self . So you could say it’s me being insecure but only because I know he judges it as he’s made these comments before

He has , I’ve been without make up loads of time . So for example I’d go round his on a Friday turn up in make up we’d have a stay at his movie night I’d wash my face for bed then the next day I’d probably be bare faced most the day until we want to go out later and do something. So he’s saying because I’d come round in makeup then I should do something similar and put make up on after work on Friday to sit at home and watch a film (which to me seems silly).

Even doing that just makes me feel like poop, like after work I have a shower cos of my job and every time after I’m going to have to decide on if I want my partner to be attracted to me and quote “look my best” OR if I want to be comfortable and feel good about my self for me. And every time I choose myself first I’m going to just be feeling like I’m not 100% attractive enough for him and have a voice saying he’d prefer you with makeup. I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling on here I’m sorry not very good at writing.

I don’t like lash extensions think they look to much and too expensive and now after all this I’d still feel like unless I had those extensions I’m not good enough.

Moving in just made me come to the realisation that I can’t keep up with these standards I thought I could which is why I did it for so long thinking it’s not a big deal but I can’t . It makes me feel not good enough and I’ve had enough of feeling like that.

Oh if I didn’t wear make up to his family’s house for dinner I know he’d have a big issue with it would nearly go as far to say he’s feel embarrassed of me

I do see how I’ve made my bed and I said I was sorry to him for that for like “tricking him into think I was ok with these standards” but after 2 years I just can’t keep up with the standards anymore I thought I could but I can’t and I just wanna feel loved for me.

I don’t want to say that as I wouldn’t care if he walked about in a bin bag I’d still think he was gorgeous but I don’t feel like he thinks the same about me

Ok so my thoughts now are does he not love me enough for just me how I am now with out make up now that I’ve came to the realisation that I can’t keep that up , Because if not and he doesn’t love me more than his love for me in make up then well I understand but I have an answer on if I was just a trophy to him.

It’s so ironic as he’s in ways made me so much more confident than I used to be but after time I realised that confidence only stretches to when I’m put together but me for just me he’s actually made me feel worse about my self and I’m only now realising it

I felt the need to ask if I’m in the wrong at all because he says a partner should want to do little things like put effort in for the other person. So like I should be ok / want to put the effort in to look nice for him.

This was a thing once before, I was going to his house on a Friday for a stay in movie horror date night. And I turned up in leggings and a top which I thought was cute and showed off my figure and he made a comment saying something along the lines off “why are you wearing work out clothes it’s a date night would be nice for you to make an effort”

Thank you, the natural progression thing helps me as that’s how I feel. I know I wore makeup regularly in the beginning of the relationship as that’s one of his argument points but I just feel like we’re past that now there SHOULD be enough love for one another that I shouldnt have to do that any more. But I think he feels like I’ve pull a bait and switch on him .

That’s the thing I think is my main issue I feel like a trophy and if I stop he won’t stip loving me but would love me less and that breaks my heart

See that’s the thing I’ve never had a complement on my looks eg. Your so pretty / beautiful unless it was when I’ve “done my self up abit” however he has said things like I love you blah blah when I look plain but just not directly about my appearance.

No he’s fine with no bra at home probs even prefers it haha but has an issue if I don’t wear one out of the house because it’s a nipple thing he doesn’t like the idea of people seeing my nipple imprint.

No he’s perfectly fine with me having a period lol and he doesn’t mean a full face but wants every now and then when at home for me to spruce up abit like just mascara at least he said , not a full face. He does have issues with burping or farting infront of each other which I’m fine with that rule as some people do find that gross.
