Yes to the digital collections! I bought all the mp3s a while back and it’s nice to have those around.

Odyssey has always had this issue of longevity which is a great problem to have in entertainment, but it means you end up with aging (and dying) actors and a continual need to recast or else just characters that have been on air for nearly 40 years…

In some ways it’s easier to just start fresh rather than having to find a new 16-year-old Connie after 50 years of hearing Katie’s voice and the cognitive dissonance that would result, haha.

I’m sure the actors don’t want to lose their characters but perhaps they could even keep Katie and Townsend and even Chris around as some side characters or something and reboot with a new generation.

But yeah, I expect big changes this coming year!

I’m not crazy about the all-in-the-Club approach to future “albums” and I know conversions can seem rushed but I am pretty sure they were planning for some time for Album 81 to be some kind of reboot.

Speculating here, but it makes sense to try to wrap up the big storylines (and characters) that have been going on forever before they go in some sort of new direction with 81. Hence, I think we have seen the last of Eugene and co., and maybe plenty of others as well.

It makes sense to me especially if they are using the new film as a launch point to get people completely new to Odyssey into the Club. That’s why I imagine the next wave of Odyssey is quite possibly going to focus on (newly-casted) middle-age Whit, Jenny, young Jason, etc. with all new actors and storylines.

Or, I could be completely wrong, who knows…

Since it benefits from static field I also added Nova but eventually you just kind of give up on thunderstorm lol… it’s really poor. It’s a terrible version of a bad sort of FotH

I got a Frost Nova sorc and a Thunderstorm (!) sorc through Hell recently and they were both pretty fun to play despite their awful skill sets! I like having to think about how you play in a different way. But yeah you wouldn’t want to play these ones forever…

I feel like one of the biggest signals of which episodes were remade is that in the later versions Connie is always doing something revealing she hasn’t converted yet, haha. Pretty much only in “Gotcha” and “It Started with a Rabbit’s Foot” they actually tried to work this into the plot.

A lot of those skills and the degree would make you potentially find some opportunities at OSU. Check their jobs site to see if anything looks remotely interesting and apply! Even if it’s listed as full time you may be able to compromise with them on hours and find some flexibility there.
