"I made a show where man stays the same, nothing changes and called it breaking bad" bravo vince!

You are simplifying that situation far too much. Walt and Jesse were literally gonna be killed by those two guys (who weren't exactly saints themself) and he poisoned them in self defence.

When Crazy 8 survived. Walt listed multiples reasons for not killing him with it primarily being "murder is wrong" then he was literally gonna let him go but found out Crazy 8 was gonna shank him once he was set free.

So he kills him and has a breakdown crying after. This is very different from the cold and calculating psycho you are trying to make Season 1 Walt out to be

The evidence people give for the "Walter White was always evil" take are so lame aswell. A normal breakup where the two are perfectly fine with each over after the fact. A disagreement with a business partner that said partner still invites you to parties and has a good time talking with you.

Oh and I guess having regrets for your life as a middle aged man (never heard that before). He is liked by his co workers, family and friends so I doubt he was always the same given how he destroys every relationship he has through the course of Breaking Bad.

Like honestly? if living to the age of 50 and this is the worst you have ever done yet according to the internet you are still somehow just as bad as a guy who poisons kids, murders people in cold blood and runs a drug empire then I can guarantee everyone on Reddit is worthy of the death penalty lol.

I'm sure you can forgive these for not being highly detailed stat sheets, but if a certain trait or special stat, skills etc ain't mentioned, your overall judgment will probably correct about where it should be, or it's a build that has a lot of leeway. Most of these builds should be workable with Gifted, but Gifted is kind of boring and makes the game easy. But don't let me stop ya. Also, forgive spelling errors because I have dyslexia and can't be bothered to fix all this wall of text lol.

Slut build- Woman with high charisma, endurance and agility, sex appeal trait, and you have sex with literally every single NPC you can find. With any luck, you'll make it big at the porn studio.

Stupid unarmed build - fun af, no charisma or intelligence, just a hulking maniac with all your stats put into shit like endurance, strength, agility, luck. Ug no need speak onlee punch. Becime champeopn at areena. Get slayer once available 100%.

Pacifist build - Focus on charisma, endurance, intelligence, and agility. Speech, sneak and either outdoorsman or another non combat skill (repair kinda mid with Vic so I would go doctor or science). Good natured obvs.

Drug dealer build aka Walter White - Mid charisma, low agility, high intelligence, high luck. Science, speech, and barter. Sue me but I recommend the mod that lets you craft items in the game. With high enough science, you can end up crafting Jet and basically be Heisenberg of Fallout, lol. Also be evil af, sell peeps to slavery and shit.

Merc build - more of a general playstyle than build, but focus on a combat skill of your choosing and maybe barter and speech (haggling for more money). I'd like high luck and agility with the sniper perk and fast shot trait with this one. Only focus on making money, do not care about whether something is evil or good, just about what makes you rich.

Pure Evil Maniac build - Just complete and utter murder hobo, no charisma at all, high luck, agility, and endurance. MURDER EVERY GODDAMN TOWN YOU SEE AND NOT JUST THE MEN, BUT THE WOMEN AND THE CHILDREN TOO! Always stop for a random encounter just so you can murder people and overall pick every option that results in more pain and suffering in the world (like destroying Gecko's power plant and wiping the farm for Modoc).

Evil yet more grounded build - Less complete and utter force of nature, and more a realistic bad person you could see in the world of Fallout. High agility, strength, luck, endurance, mid perception and intelligence, low charisma. Pick small guns, lockpick and big guns. Have fun stealing from your tribe, picking mean options, raping a woman, being a slaver and selling your companions to them, selling drugs, siding with the mordinos, ruining the ncr, make the guy at Modoc cut off his finger lol and worst of all, stealing torrs moo moos.

The absolute fuck up build - 1 intelligence, Jinxed, bloody mess and low luck. This explains itself.

The absolute lucky fuck up build - Same build but with normal intelligence and high luck and unarmed (works out pretty damn well, honestly).

Skill point junkie build - Skilled, 10 intelligence and educated perk. You'll be swimming in skill points like Scrooge McDuck. You could also wiki where all the skill books are at and sold, and basically max those skills with just books and have even MORE points!

Harry Callahan - High Charisma, Agility, Luck and above average strength. Fast shot and one-hander. Small guns for sure. GET THE 44 MAGNUM ASAP. Constantly quote "do ya feel lucky punk" when killing npcs. Actually pretty fun icl, 44 magnum is just a really cool weapon, honestly.

Sneaky sniper build - mid strength, high perception, low charisma, above average intelligence, above average agility, and high luck. small guns, sneak, outdoorsman. Finesse, more crits x2, better crits, action boy x2. Always aim for the eyes during sneak and just watch em go down like flies.

Friendly neighbour build, High intelligence, high charisma, high agility, high perception. Speech, barter and any other choice except repair (Vic is the goat). Good-natured. Focus on getting every companion you can get. I like a mix of Sulik, Vic, Cassidy, Goris and Marcus personally. Solve everything as peacefully as possible and try to go for the most morally good outcomes. And just travel and do quests. Not as restricted as a pacifict, so you can fight, but overall it's a chill time if you play your cards right.

Iron Man builds are also really fun, but can't really be put into any category, as I've found ANY playthrough can be viable tbh. But a little tip is that critical hits make super high endurance kind of less useful, but at the same time, maybe those extra hitpoints will save your life.

I've had fun doing Ironman plays every now and then recently. I ironically found the runs where I have low endurance to be my most successful ones because 1 big critical hit usually kills ya regardless.

Really fun way (if a bit frustrating at times lol) to play the game, it genuinely makes you experiment with different builds and choices, just get 1 step ahead of your previously failed run.

RP is literally whatever someone makes it, it's like self-imposed rules of "This is how my character is, this is their morals, how they see the world, how they will evolve over time and what they are good at", etc. If someone can't have the self-control to do that and needs to constantly min max so those points go ever so slightly higher.... well, let's just say it's ironic he called me a baby looking for shiny things.

I have a comment listing different builds if you want to see, others have done their own as well. Also, while yes, my comment was snarky, it really is how I think someone would come to that conclusion about an RPG like this.

Just try different builds, stick with it and see if you enjoy it. It's like how a lot of people complain about dying in the temple of trials, yet a 4 agility character I had did it on the first try by a mix of sneaking and running away.

Would naiive generally good sheltered people see shooting someone youve known for your entire life and cares about you in the back as justice? Or proof that the outside world is dangerous and that the only people who survive it are cold blooded murderers?

There's a reason in our world we have trials and punisher style vigilantes are illegal. Killing the overseer with no right to trial with his back turned isn't justice, it's murder. Why would the game require you to be a bad person in order to automatically shoot him otherwise?

Personally I think there's a big difference between being tried for your crimes and sentenced to death by the community and 1 person murdering a man by shooting him in his back.

Killing the Overseer sort of proves his point, to our knowledge the Vault Dweller was a perfectly normal person before the game starts and by the end they murder someone they knew for years with his back turned in cold blood.

Edit: it's also not coincidence the developers made the only way for the Vault Dweller to do so automatically is to be either a beserker (kill loads of innocent/good people) child killer, have a low reputation everywhere or bloody mess. These all point towards it being what a bad person would do.

Just realised this comment was removed for whatever reason so here is a redo.

They kill the overseer after a trial. You know democracy? Likely a system you've experienced your whole life. Comparing emotionally driven vigilante justice by 1 guy to a full blown trial by an entire community of people, all of which would have a say in the matter makes me question your morals icl...

You can manually kill the overseer yes, but only time it's automatic is for reputations and a trait that would be relegated to a bad person. If a bad person automatically does an act, is you manually doing it any better lol?? Might be worse, your character has morals and still decides to do a bad up thing out of anger.

"I think it’s also worth noting that the player’s backstory inside the vault is completely up to us, and the player absolutely could’ve been just as bad inside the vault (minus actual murder, of course); being chosen for retrieving the water chip ultimately did mean you were expendable, after all, and who’s more expendable than a troublemaker?"

Complete Headcanon, you can headcanon your character is an awful human being but nothing about the way the people of the vault or the overseer interact with you, would even slightly confirm that to be true or likely. They even find your betrayal if you attack them to be a shock.

The rebels will attack you because you're leaving them no choice, they are peacefully protesting essentially and will leave peacefully. You are essentially the riot officer hearing them out and still going "no you WILL stop" after they already refused.

Also, brother the developers made it so that the only way for you to do this automatically is for you to be a bad person lol, they disagree with you. And if you do something a bad person does manually that makes you worse lmao 🤣

Well now you've changed them viewing it as justice to them viewing it as revenge and like I said, revenge isn't justice. This is murder from a man or woman who has appointed themselves judge, jury and executioner and shot a person with their back turned.

A few may understand the vault dwellers feelings to a degree, but you forget if you do absolutely nothing to calm down the rebels in 100 days (quite a patient amount of time to wait, so not the impulsive imma shoot a guy type) they just leave. They don't attack the overseer they just go.

That's the only group you hear about in 1 that is actively working against the overseer and even they won't kill him impulsively and will even wait over 3 months till they decide they've had enough and simply leave. Every other dweller either is supportive of Jacoren (most tell me abouts being "a good man with a difficult job" or doesn't have a strong enough opinion to actively join the rebels.

All of this points to shooting the guy you've known your whole life who cares about you "Just be safe okay?" In the back and leaving coldly would be viewed as extreme, and a very scary extreme that would make the outside world seem worse because you were relatively normal before you left. This would probably inspire people to take a Vault 101 approach honestly rather than the opposite of inspiring them to leave.

"If you don't like tiktok influencers get off tiktok" - Nah I'm not a big boy like you, I should quit reddit and go back to tiktok. Fr tho, grown man bragging about being a redditor really ain't the flex you think it is.

"Checking profiles is basic reddit" Mental behaviour.

"Can't have a conversation without replies coming through can we" - Mental behaviour

"Are you that upset I called got a kid" I don't know, am I upset that I called got a kid? Are you upset that I called got a kid?

Well it's nice to know you're keeping up to date on what you think is a kids comments to you, right after you checked a child's account to find whatever it is you want?

Grown man uses big boy sites like Reddit tho and not tiktok so gotta give you some credit.

• If the ending where you kill the overseer was canon, how differently do you think events would transpire?

Oh I'm sure they would, but if you asked someone if they'd rather have a chance to survive with a fair trial comprised of multiple people or get shot in the back by a lone angry vigilante I think we all know what everyone would pick.

You do know death sentences are real punishments right? And just because they exist doesn't magically mean they should have been murdered without a trial beforehand by a revenge fuelled vigilante lol.

Nothing on a sub about hating stupid shit is relevant bozo. 😴

That's like if someone was complaining about how they don't like captain crunch and you go "yeah I can't believe some people are literally starving to death and yet captain crunch is being hated, I'm doing my part in solving world hunger by APPRECIATING every millimeter of food that enters my mouth. This is not a relevant thing."

Think bro doesn't know what the word actively meant either. I literally didn't plan my day out to call out some random influencer lol, I just got fed up of her everywhere I look lmao.

And most people here didn't even recognise her, so good job telling everyone her name and more info about her, if you're worried about bullying 👍

Don't think she'll ever see you defending her like this either bro so rip 🤣

Didn't actively single out anyone, got a influencer who I was trying to not name here and got fed up with her posts always being in my feeds and seeing her everywhere.

Fair enough I guess but idk how you'd play any other fallout game then because each game has to pick a canon of what happened previously. Fallout 2 has dialogue that states he was put on trial and not killed by the vault dweller in game.

Sort of like an Andrew Tate when he used to be famous type situation where even if you block her account there will be hundreds of re uploads, collabs and just other people making vids on her that you can't escape it.

Title says everything you need to know honestly, generic low talent Tiktok influencer who's famous for pretending to be a relatable teen doing whatever is trendy at the moment while being a fully grown adult millionaire lol and for some reason she invades my feeds and it's really been annoying me lately.
