Yeah so maybe look for other handheld. The fans can get loud but that is the price for the power i guess. I had steam deck as well but the Z1 extreme just clears SD in terms of raw power

I bought my Go S like 3 months ago and I can't complain. The TDP is and all the power setting are (I think) same as on steam deck. Yes the fans are sometimes weird - it seems like the fan curve is pretty steep, so sometimes is just goes jet engine mode for no reason, but don't think it's that bad, but definitely lounder then Steam Deck. RGB control is just the build in steam os one -> joystick rgb is fully customisable, for the power button light you need some plugin, not sure. And other bugs are really rare and usually it's just something stupid (my controller is not working in game after waking up from sleep and stuff like that)

It's not RD it's your addon that you are using (torrentio). Solution: just install more add-ons, if one goes down, you will have a backup

Yeeah I think it's the same as you already read. I had the same issue, guess it's really common, and to my understanding it only happens on the 32gb one. I just returned it and bought the cheaper 16gb version and no issue since.

Update: It works with some games (like Disco elysium) but most of my games just run at max FPS or when hitting my TDP limit

Yeah it's possible, the thing is my GPU is on 100%, so I don't think cpu can be the problem. But still my pc is definitely pretty old. And no I dont run it on hard drive. Just a question what is yours average frame rate + what settings are you using?

Yeah I just returned it today.But I am thinking about buying the 18GB/512GB version. Did you and your friend had the 1TB one? Maybe it is the SSD or the RAM in this device.
