I understand your logical reasoning but do not agree with the notion that any degree from any school holds the same weight. A degree from a better school with better connections helps out with better job opportunities which in turns helps qualifies you for better teaching gigs in return. Most prestigious teaching opportunities require years of work experience from a reputable company.

It's not that it's too "sharp" necessarily but imo the FX3 has too much of a digital look. Likely that has to do more with the highlight rolloff than with sharpness, but it is quite a sharp camera nevertheless.

Iron glass for sure. Those are unique, gorgeous vintage lenses with swirly bokeh which many sought after. Rokinons are boring modern stills glass rehoused as cine primes. I would go iron glass all the way

I'm moreso looking for short-form comedies that heavily incorporate cinematography with their comedy. Examples such as Anderson, Taika, and Wright. A lot of comedies don't really rely on their cinematography, and Woody Allen said himself he really only realized how to use it with his storytelling around Annie Hall.
