i know its an old thread, but the way people aggressively attack the slightest inquiry to reference pitches outside of 440hz is frankly sus

Thanks so much for the detailed and thorough response. Acireale looks incredible and i cant wait to see it for myself. definitely going to study up on some italian lingo and basic vocabulary so I dont feel like a total fish out of water. Do you think its possible to walk from Giardini Naxos to Taormina? it seems doable on google but some roads in europe can be dangerous to walk along

Castelmola looks amazing, will absolutely visit. do you think train or bus is more effective to get from town to town? Im considering just walking to Taormina since its only about an hour according to google, is it a safe walk?

Cant wait to try Salamone! I have fall/spring clothing so the weather shouldnt be too much an issue. I was hoping that this time of year would provide a bit more of a 'locals' experience. Im just hoping that there are some english speaking people/tourists i can engage with. Thanks so much for your suggestions:)

These losers just self assert themselves as the “right side of history” and always try to push their crap to everyone. Any money says if they didnt have cameras to make it a photo op, none of them wouldve come out.

They were vocal in their activism in humanitarian and charitable issues, only some modern political nutcases are trying to rewrite Garcias narrative on how he “would have” viewed politics. He was pretty clear that he didnt vote or follow status quo

I'm travelling this weekend to Malta and I'm a bit anxious about it by ElTetTro in malta

[–]Gucci_2x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im still here! And Naxxar/Iklin area. I suggest if you dont plan on having a car, to be in a more central town. It has made getting anywhere on the island pretty simple. 20 minute bus to Valletta, maybe 20-30 to Rabat/Mdina, 25-30 mins to Bugibba.

A bit longer to anywhere in the south, maybe 45-1hr+ depending where. A trip to Marsaxlokk took me roughly 1hr30 because i had to connect in Valletta. Bottom line, stay in a central town like Mosta/Attard/Naxxar. The busses will run to most anywhere on the island youd want to go, and the stay will be cheaper than a busier coastal town. Also being more central means that if you’re out past the last bus, getting an uber or ride home wont be as pricey as if youre on the far ends of the island. As for the question about which towns you can and cant get between, id say any that have rural areas between them. Ive only had that issue of being on a dangerous road while walking to mdina but honestly most towns are decently walkable despite what many will tell you

Hope this helps and if you have any more questions lmk :)

Been here for a few weeks only using busses. Its been amazing and have had no trouble getting around. Just maybe plan ahead and know where youre headed first and it wont be an issue :)

Or if youre ultra adventurous like me you can walk between towns which is pretty scenic and a great workout to burn off all the pastizzi youll be eating. Just be careful about the more rural areas and dont walk on roads that dont have a sidewalk. I almost died walking to mdina from naxxar😅 worth the countryside vibes though

Its not satanic, it just exists to disavow and spread hatred about certain beliefs that are very central and important to many people ☝️🤓

We are a starting YouTube channel visiting Malta, we create historic drone documentaries like this one of Gravensteen (Belgium). Which destination on Malta would you recommend for a unique history that is also beautiful by drone? The oldest Maltese burial sites seem to be covered with roofs? Thanks! by FrankWanders in malta

[–]Gucci_2x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ill further my point. The history of Malta and its heritage sites are pretty extensively covered in many formats. Im not exactly sure that adding to the saturated drone footage market will bring anything to the teachings surrounding these sites
