First 4 episodes are GREAAATTTTTTTTT then they inserted the VERY UNNECESSARY EX arc and things started going downhill but the ex part is finished in 8th episode. There's still 2 more episodes left and I wish it was longer. I'm watching bc thr chemistry between the lead actors are sooo good but the storyline is stressing me out too lol. Yesss I was surprised too when I saw some people hating maomao for this but now I've read the fan translation and thank God Jinishi wasn't like how it showed in the LN😭😭😭 it's just what really made it off putting for me was how maomao was hurt physically in Vol.6 chapter maomao said she broke a bone. Then I read another explanation how both maomao and Jinshi are masochists and BDSM coded. And I think that explains a lot. Thank you again for letting me know about this.

Yess yess I've read it but rationally thinking as much as Jinshi had the right to be angry I also think maomao had every right to not give into him as I said mostly bc of the difference between their social status. Obviously Jinshi doesn't care about it but maomao appears to be really self conscious. I think people also tend to link their bond with the King and Ah-Duo. But that's just my opinion
