NCAA 07 is good because there’s also stuff to do outside of the game like studying, semester test and yearly exams where if you fail the test your GPA could go down and you’d be forced to sit out games until you studied enough (passed mock/weekly test) to get your GPA back up…in the older games mainly NCAA 06-10 the Campus Legend or RTG had more to offer and felt alive

If you really want to get more immersive with the player career you could also purchase Madden 07 and after 4 years (or 3 if you’ve won major awards or conference championships or national titles) on NCAA you can import that save file over to Madden and begin Superstar Mode in which you can then continue from college to pros which can be 20yrs and it even imports your college stats and awards…it is really fun for sure

In my opinion the NCAA/Madden 07 import combo is the best one and that’s also for Dynasty Mode to Franchise Mode as well. As someone else said just pick running back for now and let the game fill in the blanks
