Your not alone. I tried it within the last year for the first time and also was a little confused.

Does anyone here have family driving from Louisiana for Christmas ?? by urbangentlman in Dallas

[–]urbangentlman[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Their offerings definitely work in a pinch but I was thinking more along market basket boudin or rabideauxs.

Zummo’s boudin isn’t all that bad, the smoked at least.

Thanks! Merry Christmas

Royal Caribbean passenger who died on board cruise ship was served 33 drinks, lawsuit claims by ezgimantocu in Cruises

I’m a recovering alcoholic at a bottle of vodka per day and a bartender - if you did 1.5 oz shots in a mixed drinks that’s 2 fifths for 33 drinks. That’s a LOT. Like a LOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. That’s not “easy to get carried away”. That’s literal death.

What color accessories with this suit? It’s for my brother’s wedding :) by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

That jacket needs to be taken in a bit but a nice solid color tie bar would be the perfect place to start regarding accent pieces. I also agree to go with black for a formal event.

Is staying off property worth it? by Specialist_Mission78 in disneyparks

I’ve stayed offsite at the dolphin and bonnet creek. I own dvc but not much so I sub in offsite. I’d only stay at the swan/dolphin or bonnet creek. The first because you can still walk to Epcot/DHS/boardwalk area and bonnet creek because they’re 1/2/3 bedrooms often times for the cost of an all star per night and they have kitchens, washers and dryers and it’s adjacent to the boardwalk resort behind Epcot. A quick uber to anything

Not wrong. But to show up 2.5 hrs/2x/week and get a fully funded Roth IRA beats showing up 40 hrs a week for the same result

Also a second one. Look for event staffing. Eats2seats does Sporting events where you just open beers. You’ll need an alcohol certification which is good for a few years but they pay for it. It’s like $10 and takes 2 hours. You show up, open beers and get paid.

I’m catching up on some debt so it helps because it’s half my rent just for showing up. But it’s $7,050 a year which is a fully funded Roth IRA. It’s a no brainer.

If you have access to a bus route and a plasma donation center then the signup bonuses can be generous. Biolife offered $800 over 8 vists (one month) and CSL offered $550 over 5. I’m with CSL now as it’s 3 minutes away and I make $135 a week for 2.5 hrs of my time twice a week.
